Golfer Reviews
Fabulous course
Even with sand on the greens (season treatment) the course is well worth playing. Fairways are wide and inviting and there is an excellent mix of long and shorter holes. The gentleman in the club shop was friendly and engaging and was happy to answer questions on the course and club membership. Already looking forward to returning.
Really worth it.
Just a really good course. Great value for the money. Some people might need a buggy to get around the course.
I will be back as soon as I can.
Well kept course, pleasant surroundings, friendly staff
Well kept course, reasonable value.
The holes are a bit side to side and rather uniform distance but do not overlap and do offer some relief which also reveals good views.
Water hazards only off fairway.
Superb hidden gem
This is a hidden gem. Puts courses in its proximity look overpriced and operating on historical inflated egos
Good Afternoon
Very surprised at the scope of the offering here. First time playing and although fairways and adjacent areas were not perfect, they were more than acceptable.
The greens were in very good condition.
A suitable challenge for a medium/high handicapper.
Value for money
Course in excellent condition - greens fast and true.
There are some good chances for a birdie at the moment - well worth a visit
A Test!!!
Not the best walking on the hottest day of the year! But very good and testing course, no hold ups and managed to complete the 18 holes in 3:45 hours.
Dad and son (son won)
Great course with a great variety of hols quite hilly so will book a buggy next time 👍🏻
Great course
For the money you will not play a better course. The course is in really good condition with fast greens, a real test of you're golf. If I lived closer a would become a member.
Please if you can play there you will not be disappointed. I will be going back in the next couple of weeks.
They are improving the drainage of the fairway so it can be open during the winter. It will not spoil your round.
Value for money
For the price we paid, it was a surprisingly good woodland course with a number of water features. You walk up and down the side of the hills but this enabled great views of the countryside.
Drainage is being installed on a number of holes but this did not affect our enjoyment
The greens are in good conditions but the borrows make it interesting
Place to ourselves
Had a couple of friends visiting who like to play golf, so booked a round at the course. I know it was Wednesday mid-day, but what a great time to play if you want to have the course to yourself !. - and all this for £25pp.
Course was in immaculate condition, with greens proving to be v fast, so spin on your approach shots essential.
After the game retreated to the hotel bar, which wasnt overpriced like some.
All in all, if you like a championship course, a bit challenging, then this is for you.
