Very well looked after course
Played on Sunday 26th January, so full winter conditions, Received a call the day before to let me know course would be playing shorter, due to condition and looking to protect course from damage, this is something I totally agree with, as soon as spring starts the course will not have to recover from damage. The front 9 played pretty much full distance with only a few winter tees in operation, and all 18 holes were played on normal greens, no winter greens at all. The back nine had been reduced to par 3s, that pretty much played at normal 2nd shot distances, from temporary winter tees placed at approximately driving distance away from standard tees, the 18th was played as a par 5. The overall course condition was great, and we will definitely be returning in spring and summer months. Overall a nice picturesque course, that plays really well
Well worth playing
Had 11:29 tee-time but managed to start a little earlier. Followed a very slow 4-ball over 1st 9 holes taking 2.5 hrs. Struggled to complete before we lost suitable light but just managed it…. No hesitation in playing again, staff were, as usual, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend…
Great layout but expensive
Played on Fri 11/10/24. Unfortunately greens had been worked on that week so we're in very poor condition. Value for money was therefore not good at £40 green fee each. We were provided complimentary range token but would've preferred 50% discount on green fee or food voucher. Course layout was nice with good variation front 9 to back 9. Would like to play again but in summer with good greens.
Friendly staff and Members
Plaed on my own on a busy Friday evening, after 3 holes I caught up on a 2 ball who invited me to join them and were really good company for the rest of my round.
Well done lads.
Kenwick Park
Truly amazing Golf course myself and my playing partner really enjoyed playing here.
Great track. Great welcome
Well presented course. Very enjoyable. Really nice welcome and checked on us as we finished too. Really nice experience.
Great layout
Great course and layout very friendly staff. Greens are fast and true tee boxes are good and bunkers well kept. Would have given 5 stars but a couple fairways still slightly soft another week and the course will be superb.
Kenwick park
Great condition for time of year just getting over hollow tining but nearly back to normal challenging course will be booking again
Great course to play
It was the second time that i have played Kenwick and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Open air golf range with all the facilities for a good day out. I played whilst holidaying in the local area. Course condition was excellent with friendly pro shop staff and members. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Highly recommended.
Wolds golf Louth
challenging course especially the long par threes
My wife found the over the ponds shots on some holes just a bit too far but we are not spring chickens s o younger players should cope.
Strict on there dress code
Kenwick Park
Using winter holes so par66 some holes removed for work and protection more par3s but still challenging and good condition Happy to play again
All round professionally run
Greeted by a happy pro who cheerfully explained the local rules without being patronising.
All regular greens in play on a revised layout, greens in excellent condition. A great variety of shots needed for the layout. 7 par 3s which sounds a lot but they mean the pace of play is maintained. A very scenic course with lots of wildlife (we saw 7 species of birds on one hole alone). Club house friendly with a good selection of drinks. I will definitely play Kenwick again.
Very wet in places however greens in excellent condition
Staying in a lodge adjacent to the course for New Year weekend so decided to try to get a round in.
Rang pro shop to book and as shop was closed on New Year’s day I had to call into shop the day before to pay.
Course was in winter configuration, which is great if you are aware of what that means.
One hole was shortened from a par four to a par three with the tee more than halfway down the fairway, therefore difficult to find!
Course was wet in places but the greens were fast and true and a credit to the green keeping staff!
Will hopefully return in summer when things are a little less wet.
Make sure you carry!
Every fairway is roped off so you have to stick to the paths, yes I understand why however it slows play up far to much. 3 4 balls infront of us and every hole we waited about 15 minutes before we could tee off. Course was fantastic as always apart from the massive amount of smoke from the green keepers burning leaves in the middle of the course. Club House staff where friendly.
