A busy course, readying itself for the Trilby tour. Greens in excellent condition. Wide fairways in OK condition in spite of the lack of rain. Young developing course which will improve with age. Clubhouse facilities excellent with friendly helpful staff.

Played KP today, 1st time in about 18 months, weather was strong winds, sunny & dry. It had rained heavily the night before, but this didn't slow down the well maintained greens, The course was in very good condition, well signed for the 1st timer, a bit hilly, (4th par 5 x 600yds up an hill) 16th & 18th good finishing holes. Excellent staff in the Pro shop, puts you at easy immediately, very helpful & friendly, definitely be back (regularly)

The round was great even if the scoring was moderate. Staff extremely helpful and informative especially as ground staff had difficult job of keeping the course in a very playable condition during long period of hot dry weather and getting course ready for Trilby Tour Yorkshire Championship c 1 week after we played. Wonderful setting with fabulous views and the course is interesting and challenging to regular club golfer (my partner) as well as to the novice (me). Challenged but never intimidated by every hole. Facilities good and nice bar and restaurant too. Will definitely play there again. Course was very busy but did not feel crowded or rushed. Very good day all round

Course was in great nick , greens really good and quite lush for all the hot weather , staff spot on and course is well looked after , only gripe we had was on the 16 and 18 th is either side of the driving range which has no nets so the balls from there were encroaching these holes which made it hard to find your ball if you was a tad off with your drive

Excellent facilities at this gem of a course. Dry weather means fairways were burnt dry but greens were very good. A couple of fairways had new drainage channels which due to dry weather had sunk a little which was unfortunate. Course not long but has to be carefully negotiated due to well positioned bunkers and ditches. Will certainly return again. Ps lovely lodges available to rent on site with golf and spa deals...

The course was fabulous value for money. A thoroughly enjoyable round with the course in fantastic condition. A fabulous sandwich and drink to finish completed a memorable experience!

Well presented course that suffers from being set up to protect against corporate use. Eg the greens are slow and would benefit from trimming . It felt like a newish course that will improve with maturity

Played the kp with a good friend we both love this course excellent condition will be back definitely recommend for anyone else who wants to play a good course

Good challenge for a golf course. Shot selection paramount.

Great weather helped us enjoy our game at the KP. The course was excellent - busy but no holdups and well cared for greens. We would play there again. We had a a sandwich at the 19th afterwards where the food was ok but the service was slow. A bit of a let down.

Lovely course. Great views from some holes. With a couple of hills to climb but mostly flat. A lot of course improvements have been made and some of which are still ongoing. All of which enhance your golf experience at KP. There are some holes which will test your skill of golf. All in all a very enjoyable course to play.

The facility include a driving range, putting green and practice area to get in the golf mode and a gym with spa facilities if you

want to use them. The club house is very modern. The food is excellent with very friendly staff.

Became a member some 3 years ago and have thoroughly enjoyed my time here.The course is beautifully laid out with a number of challenging holes and is set on hilly parkland right on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds.A lot of time, effort and cash investment has been made in this short time and the course continues to improve season on season.Modern clubhouse with good facilities and friendly staff.There are log cabins available on site for the enthusiast who wants to mix hotel style luxury with a few rounds of interesting and challenging golf. Highly recommended all round.

A very cold day poor under foot. We played a lot of temps but it did not deter the players. Greens we played were very good running true, Little or no deep rough bunkers out of bounds due to maintenance or water problems as expected at this time of year

The staff were very helpful with advice and service.

This course is well worth a visit. Great to play. Great club house and log cabin hotel rooms if wanting to stay. Within easy reach of York. First class food and facilities.

Played the KP club on a wet and challenging day, nevertheless a very enjoyable course with risk and reward holes to suit all level of player. Great country side views and a first class club house where I enjoyed a a great bacon and egg bap and a tea for under £4.00.

A short but demanding golf course set high up in the Yorkshire Wolds affording magnificent views across the Vale of York. A lot of care and attention has been spent on the greens and fairways and when our 3 ball played 2 days ago, the course condition was excellent.
