Relaxed and Welcoming
Fun course that I've played many times. Open to all levels of golf, great practice. Some challenging holes.
A course worth supporting.
Nice but hilly course
Nice course, its very hilly but never too busy so dont feel rushed.
The set up was ok pity about the flags only poles in holes on green no definition of were holes were
The overall state of the course was good bit of damage due to idiots on motorbikes on greens (3) and the absent of flags on greens only poles no markers on them too small to see on some greens otherwise present game of golf
Ben Nevis with Bunkers and Brown Surprises.
Concord Park Golf Club isn’t so much a golf course as it is a cruel social experiment to see how far a human can be pushed before they snap.
The layout? Imagine playing 18 holes on a rollercoaster built by someone with a grudge against knees. I needed ropes and a flare gun just to reach the 15th green, a vertical climb that made me question all my life choices.
The fairways are essentially public dog toilets, expertly fertilised by every mutt in Sheffield. It’s less “greens in regulation,” more “avoiding a steaming pile every three feet.”
And the flags? Oh, you sweet summer child, there are no flags. Just chopped-up bits of plastic conduit stuck in the hole like someone lost a bet at B&Q. I nearly wept when I saw an actual flag on the 17th. I thought I’d hallucinated it due to altitude sickness.
The place is falling apart faster than my will to live. If Bear Grylls designed a golf course after six pints, this would be it.
Avoid. Unless you’re into cardio and disappointment.
Course not in the greatest condition. Cheap game of golf though to be fair. Was first time playing the course. Was a bit baffled there aren’t any flags in the holes. Just little white sticks some only 3ft in height making it really difficult to see where you should be aiming unless you know the course.
Run down
Litter everywhere, greens have no proper flags, tee boxes are non existent and many of the signs are destroyed or covered in graffiti. Other than that it was great.
Still trying to figure out if this was a bargain.
Great sausage roles but what else can I say? If you designed a golf course in the mad max universe this would be it. Attached photo is one of the tee boxes.
Had a laugh though.
Hidden gem but needs work
This is my first time playing here and wow the course is absolutely brilliant, if someone threw a bit of money at it and would be absolutely fantastic. First off the course lay out is great and it does look like it’s maintained to some what of a decent standard, the tee boxes and greens need some work on them they were all over the place with tee boxes not level and no clear indication of which tees you were playing from ie. White yellow red, and the greens need a bit of TLC as they were bobbly and uneven, it was basically hit and hope no point in lining it up. It also desperately need to directions on the course to the next hole as it wasn’t clear which hole was which and we nearly bypassed two holes if we’d not have looked over the trees, but other than some negatives I have the course was brilliant and if it has some time spent on it I would definitely return but until then I’ve played it once and that’s enough for me.
Heart attack hill
Gets bad reviews unfairly in my opinion, yes the flag situation isn’t good but that’s down to idiots stealing or breaking them. Friendly staff, good tee boxes , greens very receptive and soft, few bobbles , fairways well cut . It’s in better condition than many comparable price courses , offers a challenge don’t be fooled by the short length. Downside - you need to be able to cope with some extreme slopes , don’t think buggies are available either . It’s hard work but there’s a really nice outside area and a bar waiting after the 18th to ease the pain. If you’re pretty fit and looking for value then give it a go it was fun to play again.
The hills on this course are ridiculous. There are no flags on the rock hard very slow bumpy so called greens. 60 percent of the course is blind to you off the tee with no marker posts to assist with aiming. First and last time playing this course.
Concord
Course was a good lay out, staff were brilliant, greens could of been in better position, course could benefit from markers to see where you are meant to be aiming especially on a few par 3s where bushes in front of tee box are overgrown and can't see green, could benefit from a bell on longer holes to let players behind on tee box know you are clear so they can play
terrible
played here and what a mess, greens so slow , every par 3 was like teeing off a path . I gave a 4 for the pace of play, it was good cause no one was on. Only £20 for Sunday i wouldn't pay £10 .

Great course, last few holes you’ll probably need a ski lift, 🧗🏼♂️ great staff and good food.
Great course for the majority of golfers
Played at Concord Park GC today for the 2nd time in a month.
I played last month, when it was still a little wet and most courses were still suffering from the torrential winter we've had. It was a little overgrown in places, which was to be expected (and the price was discounted as a result) but it was a really interesting course...enough for me to try it again.
Walked up on the day, no booking. Straight onto the 1st tee and instantly the course looked in much better knick.
It isn't all that long, with only two par 5's and seven par 3's...and all Par 4's genuinely reachable in two for pretty much all abilities of golfer. With that, it's instantly more enjoyable...every hole, even as a mid-high handicapper like myself (15), is a potential birdie /par chance.
The Head Pro was out cutting the fairways (not sure whether he doubles up as greenkeeper also), the tee markers are little bits of plastic tubing and some of the flagsticks (also just plastic tubes) didn't have flags on them...so it's a little rough around the edges...
BUT, if you want a course to that allows you to get round quickly (I was round in 2 hours 45 minutes today), doesn't take itself too serious, encourages all abilities and gives you half a chance to shoot a decent score...get yourself down and enjoy a cheap(ish) round that'll give you some very interesting holes.
Very hilly though...your calves won't be thanking you as you walk up the 18th fairway!

Horrendous
Amazing
Such a great course especially for the time of the year. Only negative is multiple times when teeing off on the back 9 some lads were racing quad and dirt bikes up from the woods on to the fairway but nothing major. All in all a great course, definitely up there with the best in the area.
Pace of play is great as the calibre is of a good standard.
