I would like a refund as the corse was on 18 temps which I did not find out till arrival by the shop pro £37.50 is the summer price and to turn up and pay the same for 18 temps is not acceptable, the club pro was not interested in giving us a discount price for future visit , our 2 ball cast £74 for temp tees no fairway matts so had to play out of the ruff and 18 temps , poor poor review

Top condition tees and greens were immaculate.

Course was in tip top condition.

Having played a lot of different courses this one is a classic well worth a visit.

Phenomenal course, mint condition.

A massive rush in terms of pace of play, not the ideal course for you if you’re not a great player.

Would recommend if you’re somewhat decent, but if not, look elsewhere.

The grass on the fairways is amazing, so thick and lush you don’t even take a divet, it refused to budge it’s like playing off a carpet!

This was my first time playing this course, I only started playing golf 3 years ago, having driven past this course many times and always thought that it looks like a nice course to play. Well it didn’t disappoint. It’s a great course, which is well kept. There are some nice views as you go round, especially the 4th with views towards the Peak District. Will definitely be playing here again.

Nice course, kept really well, very tricky!! A great challenge but the pace of play was ridiculous. 3.5hrs for 12 holes, had to walk off as I wouldn’t complete before getting to work. I had a three ball then a 4ball then a golf society day ahead of me. The pro said the society should be far enough in front of me but there’s some major traffic jams, 6th hole there was 4 groups waiting to play. Nightmare. A real shame because it was a good course. £30 wasted.

My second time playing this course and both times I have really enjoyed the lay out and the conditions were fantastic. A short and tight course which gives you plenty to think about. The driver stayed in the bag more often than usual.

Regrettably I have to comment that both times I have played I found pace of play to be an issue.

Didn’t have time for a beer but the clubhouse looked nice.

I would return again.

Top course. Shame about my playing partner Bailey who lost at least 6 balls; if these could be returned that would be much appreciated.

Awful conditions on the course. Drainage lines all over fairways.

Members rude and wouldn’t let a solo player through when playing a four ball, even when asked. Took5 hours to complete a round on my own.

Overall an expensive waste of a Saturday.

Course in excellent condition many varied holes first hole a bit tricky

First time I have played this course today and it is one of the best courses Iv been on, would 100% recommend to anyone! Can’t wait to play it again * * * * *
