Did not play this course as I had Covid and the 2 others I was playing are house mates so lost my money did try to ring the course but no answer

Greens were ok, paths to next hole very hard and rutted.

Tees needed attention.

The overall condition was just ok but tends to let down this very interesting layout.

No refreshment facility unless you go into hotel which was disappointing.

paid here many times, unfortunately Marriott seam to have lost interest, the greens are brilliant, the tees need some work(watering and seeding) and the bunkers need the weeds removed and a good rake, this is not expensive work but would make a world of difference.

the coarse has a good layout,and some great holes.

This is a lovely setting with some good challenges. Weather was dull but dry. Our only complaint would be the semi rough was left a little too long.

All staff were very friendly and helpful and the bar was open for a swift pint before heading for home.

Finances are obviously tight with most bunkers need refurbing, other areas just need tidying but the greens were very good.

A great layout, with many interesting & challenging holes, but too difficult for golfers who are wayward off the tee.

3 poorly designed holes in terms of a very small green to hit - and blind for the 12th - when generally approaching from around 180 yards. The Par 3 1st is a prime example especially if you are a lady with only a 7-yard advantage over the yellow tee despite what the card stipulates. Wonderful practise facilities, so I'll be returning to improve on my poor score of 88 this time.

Tried to check in but pro shop closed down, working from starters hut now.

1st hole is a par 3 but when we got on the fairway of the second hole we knew we should not of bothered it was terrible.greens were ok

Having once been a member of this course i found it in terrible condition! The man in the golf shop was not interested in being civil or keeping the timings for tee off which of course led to congestion!

The greens were ok, but the course was in very poor shape, the bunkers all rock hard, bald areas on all fairways, bald tees none of the greens had seen a leaf blower (it was windy the night before), boundary stakes all fallen over, very little bins on the course, one bin was thrown in the ditch in between the 17th and 18th. Very dissapointed and not worth £36 a round!

A nicely designed Golf Course and with no other golfers around it was a real pleasure to play there. Some attractive looking holes and challenging without being over penalising. A very interesting course and one which we will likely come back to.

Excellent value for money. Course in very good condition. Couple of bunkers could have been better kept though. Able to really enjoy our three ball as few players witnessed on course. Really enjoyable round.

Even thou the weather in the U.K has been poor the conditions of the course was excellent with the only one fairway in need of treatment. The greens were fast and in excellent condition and I wouldn’t hesitate to play another round there and that also goes for my playing partner who said the same thing.

They say golf is a game of luck. Well that luck is who you get stuck behind.

As usual no etiquette shown, no marshalls in sight to speed play along.

Yes im a grouch, but clubs should be doing more to speed up play, especially as 8mins a tee time is for single digit handicaps not weekend slashers

Really fun course, accuracy is definitely rewarded. Driving range and pitching / putting greens for practice beforehand. Fast greens.

3 years ago played here regularly. It went down hill rapidly.

First round back in nearly a year and it has improved significantly. Trees trimmed, rough cut back to sensible levels. Fairways looking like fairways. The bunkers are by and large terrible, but it's vastly improved.

Twilight rates for me here, but great for an evening round
