Mr Kevin Scoates
The course was in good condition and everything about the course and amenities were excellent the sun also helped and we used the bar for a drink and food after our game. I have played a few courses recently and found this course fantastic value for the price I paid and will be returning.
Great day
Staff were very friendly ,turned up a bit early and they let us go off ,course was in good condition , fairways were a bit wet in places but that's to be expected after all the rain we've had . Overall a great day and will defiantly be back
Lingfield Park
Course in good condition for May, greens were not full of sand like many other courses and played smoothly.
Good variation on the holes and plenty of challenges, would play again.
Good value for money too
Good Track and Value
Played early morning, hardly anyone on the course. Greens were in good condition for this time of the year and the fairways were a bit in consistent. Good value for money.
Little gem
Great track. Greens were fantastic. Definitely will be returning as it’s like a mini Augusta
Nice change from local club
I really enjoyed driving into Surrey to play Lingfield. It was a change from my local course as I found it challenging off the tee. The pace of play was slow in places but I would not say there was too many players out on the course. Was in lovely condition and would recommend. It's also nice as you play right next to the horse track.
GOOD COURSE - DISSAPOINTED BY BUGGY HIRE
We had an early tee off of 7 am the employee wouldn't allow a buggy out for my friend, due to the frost. Whilst i understand and always want to protect the course., the frost / melting frost was not going to damage the course (from a buggy) if kept off the fairways and around the greens. My friend is in his 60's and needs a buggy for medical reasons, as walking 18 holes is very difficult for him. We felt they could have allowed him a buggy if he stayed off the fairways & around the green. Because of the layout of the course the 9th hole doesn't bring you back to the clubhouse, so once you're out on the course you can't just nip back and pick up the buggy half way through the round. So my friend played but it ruined it for him. Course ran well & it's always a good challenging course to play
Lovely challenging course
On arrival went to check in cabin. The guy in there needed to take a happy pill as must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Had a nice practice area worth warming up on and the practice green reflected the pace of the course greens which were good.
The course played very well. I was surprised at how challenging the course was, it’s very tight with woods either side on most holes so you must have accuracy of the tee and through the course.
Would definitely recommend given the lack of rain the fairways and greens held up well and I thoroughly enjoyed my round.
Lingfield Park
Good layout, plenty of chances to attack pin if the tee shot is good.
Greens on slow side but in good condition.
Couple of fairways were on the dry side.
Lingfield golf club
If your playing golf at a weekend and you have a budget to stick to them this is a must. For 35 pounds on a weekend this course is fantastic. Challenging and picturesque holes all the way round. There are some testing holes for sure. Back drop of the racecourse aswell. This really is in my view great value for money.
Much better nick than 2 years ago
A couple of years ago the course was not in a good state but I played in August last year and there weresigns of improvement, mainly to the fairways and greens. That improvement has paid dividends especailly the greens. Can't do much about the fairways and how they have crisped up in acouple of weeks from wet to hard. The tees need to be rotated a bit more and some of them need to be looked at to get them level or at least flat. On the whole out ofthe 4 courses I have played in the week after Golf was allowed to be played this was the best one.
