Lingfield golf course
A bit wet after a long down pour but.the course still played ok
Excellent course
Excellent course, because of the dry conditions you rely on the luck of the bounce off of the hard fairways , however,
greens are perfect.
Lingfield Park golf course
Great course , slow at times with 2-3 groups infront not being great and taking ages on greens , but you get that every where , course was in good nick even with the lack of rain , greens were I very good condition considering, we will be going back again
Nice track in excellent condition . Great views
An interesting woodland ciurse. Greens were excellent and many interesting and challenging holes. Next to the race course offers some great views. Very good value and friendly staff. One green-keeper should have stopped mowing to allow us to finish a par 3 but apart from that all good.
Great Course
I'd thoroughly recommend this course. It's a very high quality course. The greens were in immaculate condition despite the recent hot weather. Buggies are available and there is nice food available in the bar at the end also.
Lingfield
Greens in veg condition tees and fairways on front 9 very dry giving unpredictable bounce on the fairway.
At the end of the round at 18.00 nothing open. Very poor.
Lingfield park
We have played the course often before but were disappointed this time. The first 4 holes are baked so hard (including the tee boxes) that when the ball lands its a mystery where the bounce will take it.
We hired a buggy for £30 (pretty expensive). It was very dirty. We commented only to fe td they were vleaned last week.! Not great.
No facility for a coffee or drink after the round.
All in we won't be back soon, maybe in the winter but maybe not. Would not recommend to any golfing friends
Good conditions but greens a bit furry
Overall it was a good day, layout is good with some nice holes. Fairways, rough and tee boxes cut nicely but the greens even though rolling true were extremely slow furry very odd for mid July. Will come back again soon and hopefully the greens will be quicker.
Excellent course well worth a visit top value
Good course - slow play
There was a group of 2 ahead of us, but jeez the pace of play made it feel like it was 4 balls of geriatrics, it was so dry it should have been much faster.
Did not make the day bad, but made it longer than needed.
