Overall it was a good day, layout is good with some nice holes. Fairways, rough and tee boxes cut nicely but the greens even though rolling true were extremely slow furry very odd for mid July. Will come back again soon and hopefully the greens will be quicker.

Excellent course well worth a visit top value

There was a group of 2 ahead of us, but jeez the pace of play made it feel like it was 4 balls of geriatrics, it was so dry it should have been much faster.

Did not make the day bad, but made it longer than needed.

I played here earlier in the year and the difference to now is amazing. The greens are in so much better condition, not fast, but running nicely.

The course has a good number of really interesting holes and a good mix of forest holes and parkland.

1st time here, great price for a Saturday morning round, course in great condition, everyone is friendly, no hold ups and will definitely be returning. Recommend this course.

Great value for money. All holes bring their own challenges especially the dog leg 5th

It’s an interesting course with some tight, tricky holes in a lovely setting but over 4 1/2 hours for a two-ball? A group ahead was painfully slow & 3 holes behind the group in front. Needs a course ranger to hurry people up! Greens were fine but bunkers were poor with little sand. Worth a visit but not at peak time!

For only £14 I thought I had a bargain, the course itself is really nice and would definitely go back. However, they double book every single tee slot therefore there was a queue of doubles every hole, with 4 pairs waiting to tee off because we all had similar tee times. It seems the reason it’s so cheap is because they sell double the amount of tee times they really should.

Course is brilliant though, great conditions and very enjoyable with some great looking holes.

Tough course made longer by the slow play from 5th hole…

Course in very good condition, greens running well

1st outing on the course, and first out at 7h10. Club personnel was absent and pro shop was still shut. Course played fast for our 3-ball at 3h45. Course was in good condition and definitely worth a visit. Fairly tight and also a fair few manufactured dog legs to make it all fit, which is a slight negative. Playing the course more than once will certainly help with this. Loved the visit and will certainly recommend the course.

Course conditions good. Excellent value for money.
