Very windy but lovely course
Very straight forward course for a beginner but if windy it will catch you out very well kept even in the winter
well maintained winter course
Nice course , reasonably priced , very good condition for a wet mid january .
Only negative was that play was slow and backed up on every hole , i think a society was playing earlier and unfortunately they do not hurry round , managed to get in 11 holes then called it a day but a pleasant 11 holes all the same .
Not bad for the price
It's a decent course and the team there are really helpful and nice. The course was waterlogged a lot in places due to the bad weather we have had in the country recently, the holes were very similar a lot of the time but might be better in the warmer months when all the bunkers are not small ponds.
First time playing
Really enjoyed the course. The conditions were dry and low 20’s but very very windy which was a learning curve! I thought the course was really fun and a definite test of links golf. So many tees where driver was not an option so your course management has to be spot on. The wind plays a huge factor. Fairways were perfect, tee boxes perfect. Only downside was, in my opinion, the greens. They were a bit bobbly in places but having only played once I don’t know if this is the norm. But overall the course and experience was, I thought, really enjoyable and I will be playing again soon. I would urge others too also.
Not a good Day
Overall very disappointing course in poor condition bunkers full of water greens being treated so more like putting on roadway speed of play unbelievably SLOW
An amazing course, even better value for money
Played this course as our normal course was flooded and so glad that we did. Got a very early tee time and got talking to a couple of members, lovely blokes who welcomed us to the corse and explained a couple of the features, been member for years. Despite the horrible weather, not a single temp green or temp tee, both them and the overall course in true amazing conditions. Greens played true. A good challenge in places needing accurate tees shots combined with some great holes later out to suit the land itself. Wish I would have known about this course earlier and will be playing there more!!
Nice no frills course
I only play here in winter as it is less muddy than other courses in the area. It is well kept but the weather had been atrocious the week before so the bunkers were all lakes. The greens are in good condition for the time of year and the course was pretty quiet so we weren’t held up. We did get lost between the 2nd and 3rd holes as there was no signage to the next tee! Would recommend if you are looking for a good value round.
Great course very challenging would definitely recommend it, only downside is the noise from the airport.
Breakfast in the clubhouse was great , driving range was amazing, give it a try you won’t be disappointed
Great value
Love this course. Varying winds directions make it a different course each time you play.
Greens may be a tad slow but understandable after this summer and coastal conditions.
Very quiet, great value, would join if I lived just a bit closer!!
