Loved it, green fairways
Some challenging holes and you had to plan your play
Great value course in all seasons
Tends to be windy throughout the year which makes the course quite long. A lot of water so you need to be fairly straight but no crazy difficult - although it helps to have played before. The course is playable all year typically and is great value for money. Make sure you get there early and have a bacon baguette - again great value!

Love this course! Amazing VFM, interesting layout and different winds mean it rarely plays the same one week to the next.

Great course all year round
Excellent value - challenging course with a lot of water. Greens i great condition. Can be windy but course playable all year as drains so well.
Pleasant experience
Lydd golf course is a links course with widish fairways and numerous water hazards. There is a good driving range attached to the club house, you get a token from the pro shop to put into the ball vending machine. There is also a practice putting green in good condition as well as a not so good chipping area. We had calm conditions at the start of our round, the wind picked up later and this made the course much tougher. The course was in good condition and is very affordable, especially if you book through GolfNow which we did. I thoroughly recommend Lydd Golf Club and will play there again.

Great thinking test
Lovely to get a course that you need to plan your way around rather than blasting big-guns everywhere. Great condition, greens excellent. Facilities ok but closed when we got back to clubhouse.
Super links course
Very friendly welcome. Challenging course in excellent condition (greens were very good). Lots of water. Would be a beast in strong winds!! Very friendly lady in club house....her cake was wonderful! Will definitely return. Highly recommended.

A championship course kept in good condition, very challenging and well worth a visit.
Golf shop staff could be a lot more polite and friendly.
