Hill valley lives up to its name
Hard course to play when it’s so dry, sloping fairways mean even the straight shots bounce into places on that course that shouldn’t have a golf shot played from.
Lovely setting for a round of golf! Course in good shape for a macdonald hotel!
Staff were really friendly and accomodating adjusting tee time as one player was running late. Course was excellent, great design and good condition. Only issue we encountered was a group playing as a 6 ball in front of us.
Silly buggers😃
Very good!
Very good course and for only £23! Pro in shop very friendly and provided great course info. Will definitely be returning!
Good course for the money
Good course only issue was really slow play in front from some group bookings in buggies that were holding everyone up. Course was clear in front of them but they spent ages on the tee and then looking for a ball on nearly every hole
Prakash Bhojani
all fine and clean fairways too hard hitting balls lose in to water
Beautiful Course
Great setting, great variety of holes. Paid £18 through a Hot Deal, absolute bargain!
Wait till the summer
Great course but very very boggy and holes made shorter some bye over 100yds 9th hole , this time off year it’s a walk and keep your swing going, we will return but later next year
Great value on challenging course
First time this year on Emerald.
Generally great condition and not too busy.
Course in fine condition considering recent wet weather.
Highly recommended.
Mid Wales Tour
Played the Emerald course, 3 ball and 2 ball in our group. Fairways are cut nice, the rough was forgiving, the greens a little quick but to be expected. Liked the half way house at the start of the 10th. We really enjoyed our round although the front 9 we were held up, We didn’t get a buggy, but found it ok to walk.
Emerald course
The course was in very good condition the green staff was busy all over the course the green was fast and true .
With the weather we have had the last few days the bunkers was well raked overall a good day . Could do with a few larger direction markers . The members was very friendly and the lady in the pro staff was brilliant
Very good price at £25 only downside was £40 for a buggy
Apart from that a good course to play
Excellent
Great course in excellent condition. Layout is challenging but fair. Paid £20 for an Saturday afternoon round which is a bargain.
Nice course in great condition
I've played Hill Valley a lot over the years and It is in as good a condition as I have ever seen it.
A very nice course and reasonable green fees.
