The course is not in great condition .

Greens were dry and very bobbly need rolling and watering .

Fairways were bare patchy and need reseeding .We had a society in front of us and teed off 340 mins late but once out on the course had no hold ups .

Good value.

Course in fair to good condition. Greens of variable speed but decent surface. Bunkers have good sand some GUR. Overall the course benefits from having heards of deer although they do have the obvious down side. It gets very noisy when it gets close to the M25. Give it a go.

Disappointed

Car park full , greeted by members moaning about how the club is run . Course in terrible condition , greens awful . Having played there a few times it was very disappointing for £30 ? The place needs an injection of management and money as it is a decent layout . Shame to see it struggling . Won’t be going back any time soon . Sorry

First round of the season

A well laid out and kept course great value for your money. Only downfall was limited buggies due to break but otherwise enjoyable golf round in these crazy times.

Expected more tbh.... Considering there has been very little play on the course over the winter we were a little disappointed in the condition of the greens.

Hack & Slash

Poop everywhere. Hardest and smallest greens I've ever seen. Not a fun round. Worth £20 max

Avoid

Avoid this course whist current tee times are in place.

Clearly 5 min tee times set up to take as much money from customers as possible. With no thought on the pace of play or experience of the golfer.

No one at the pro shop to discuss refund.

Two players should be getting round that course in well under 4 hours. By 3 hours 30 mins we were on the 9th green and decided to call it quits.

Turned up and 14 people waiting to tee off. 6 people also waiting at the 10th tee.

All the way round was at least 3 groups waiting at tee.

Greens were awful but thats more to do with the weather and poor drainage

Maylands Golf Club

Course was great for winter conditions, all greens open. Great staff too, very helpful.

Only issue is the 5 minute slots for tee of time create a backlog at the 1st tee, had to wait about 30mins after tee time to get started, which resulted in slow play and didn’t get the course finished as it got dark.

But other than that still great and would go back.
