Maylands Golf Club

Unfortunately due to the vast amount of rain prior to our round and high winds on the day we did not play the course in its best condition but this is no fault of the golf club , will definitely revisit in the warmer weather. Many interesting holes and some challenging greenside bunkers to avoid. Staff were very friendly.

Very good value for money if you can get the right deal

A good time had by all 3 of us greens a bit bumpy but it was getting on in the day other wise fine

The course layout was challenging but very fair good condition for the time of year with thegreens but a bit slow , but you can find this at a lot of courses.

We started at 3.15pm and played at a good pace but the bar was closed when we finished! We had an excellent round, reasonably priced and we would have supported the bar, had it been open!

Course in good nick given the lack of rain we’ve had but let down by bunkers with very little sand in them making them almost impossible to play out of.

Arrived to play told no trolleys allowed asked if had carry bags told no asked for a refund told no said there was nothing on there website which we had checked about carry only wouldn't have booked if new this told by guy in pro shop not my problem !!!!!!! Very un helpful have played this course in the past won't be playing it ever again v poor

Very nice course and in in very good condition except for 2 holes where there was more sand on the green than in the bunker. Tees were in very good condition and most of the greens were good. Pace was very slow as it was seniors day. Was told when I arrived that there would be 49 players on the course. My tee off time was at 10am but I didn't tee off till 11.10. Was alot of waiting around at every hole. Took 7 hours to complete. I would play there again but not on Fridays which is seniors day

Course has been well maintained and provides a good challenge for the average golfer. As a first time player it would have been useful to have directions to the next tee as a couple of times we went the wrong way.

The course was in poor condition especially the greens.

Beautiful course and surroundings, greens in lovely condition and very fast. Love the deer walking around too!

We originally started play on a saturday but were rained off after 6 holes. Pro very helpful and we were able to play an alternative day. Enjoyed the course which was in good condition. Greens receptive, good speed with some tricky borrows. Found the in course out inbounds out of bounds a little unfair but understand done for player safety.

Enjoyed the round and will play again

Course wasn't taken care of well, very tatty for £35 per person. Best avoided.

Course was in good condition only slight negative was fairway grass was a little long but other than that was good, only £17 for the round and some nice holes. Well worth the money

Course was in good condition, greens were a little bumpy and patchy but is it winter. Weather played a huge part - sunny crisp day. Had a good round and would go again.
