Decent
Played here many times and glad to be back. However, very slow pace again and around 12-18 golfers congregated next to the 18th green, very distracting on the approach! Maybe a society, but please leave the course, especially during Covid. Greens mainly GUR, but course in good condition. Pace of play issues not a first but still enjoy coming here.
Bit disappointing
First round back after lockdown. The greens were very slow and were nowhere near as good as they have been previously. All bunkers untreated and considered GUR. Nice course, but currently far from its best .
Poor
Bring hiking boots so many hills and good walking paths to each tee area. Scattered holes kept kriss crossing to each tee area nearly all tee shots uphill downhill or blind to fairways hardly any flat landing areas to play from greens were long and slow to putt on.

Played this course a few times in the past and its always been good but we played it on Monday for our first game back and it was shocking
No bunkers in play

Greens were shocking
Considering golf courses have had 4 months to ensure everything is perfect for customers all 4 of us were very unhappy and wont be back anytime soon
Stunning setting
Course as impressive as always, a little slow pace of play, expected at the moment though.
Greens could maybe be slightly quicker but all in all, lovely. Will be back.
Good course even in the winter
Course held up nicely despite a week of winter rain. Lovely kept greens too.

Oh no food barring a 1970's cheese toastie. No coffee and recycled tea bags....
But for golf superb.
Will definitely return
Course was in excellent condition, considering the amount of rain we've had recently. Greens were excellent, obviously well looked after. So many interesting and well designed holes, the tee on the 17th, with the hotel in the background is one of the best I've played. Can't wait to play there in the summer. Quite hilly in places, a buggy, could be useful for some.
Entertaining challenge
Well designed and challenging test of golf. It's been in great condition both times I played it. Not particularly long, but the cunning design of the holes makes you think.

A very challenging course weather didn’t help with high winds & rain.
