Would recommend this course
So I would highly recommend playing this course. Real challenge with some tough greens. Course in great condition and plays really well.
Great value for money
Interesting course in great condition, excellent value for money. Not busy, so good pace of play. Could have been made more welcome but I would certainly return.
Great course
Really nice course, quite difficult, long & challenging greens, but well worth the visit.
Course in good condition
After all the rain the week before I thought it would be a tad bit soggy but course was in great condition. Greens were fast and true and tee boxes cut nice and short. Some really nice holes particularly on bk 9 holes. Had a 4 ball in front that slowed us down on every tee. Took ages to putt :( frustrating. Guy in pro shop very friendly . Guiness after was nice. £6 . overall for £30 for a sat morning tee off very good value. Will be back.
Excellent course
Course was in excellent condition for the time of year. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were immaculate. Some very undulating holes and sloped greens can make it challenging but interesting course. Highly recommend.
excellent value for money
A very good course £30 on a saturday is very good many clubs anre over priced and no where near the standard . Greens were immaculate although a bit fast. Bunkers I went in were very good and sand of a good quality, it’s a long course considering the hills but very varied.
Bunkers
Course is OK given the lack of rain for months. Only criticism would be the bunkers. Many g.u.r .and those in play were average. Overall very scenic and good value for money.
Lovely quiet course
Course was in excellent condition considering the dry summer. Tees especially were in tip top condition & very few bare patches on fairways. For a first timer I found greens challenging. Very few people on the course & a very pleasant walk. Friendly man in the golf shop & tasty & good value sandwiches.
A really decent course and excellent value
Booked a late Sunday round for £25 based on recent reviews and have to agree that it’s a decent course with a good mix of holes and excellent value. Lots of elevation change and firm fairways with some elevated tee shots to drivable par 4’s (4th hole especially) and all par 5’s were gettable in 2. Very open off the tee allowing you to bash driver pretty much on every hole. Holes often lined with mature trees which framed them and visually appealed. Some decent par 3’s especially the 17th and the green complexes were a good challenge with some really small greens testing accuracy. It was millionaires golf at that time and so pace of play wasn’t an issue and I really enjoyed my round here and would definitely return.
Fantastic Greens
Wasn’t sure whst to expect
But it wasn’t a let down
Great service in the club house, friendly staff, the food was good value for money
The course was in great condition, the pace of play was good and the greens were the best I’d played on for a while
The Golf Pro was welcoming and I made a point of passing on the feedback about the course after my round
Pace
The buggies can be an hindrance especially when 2 walking players come to concentrate and relax.
Played Saturday 26th, the course was in great condition and the greens will like carpet there was not a blemish on them hat soft to the green keeping staff. Well worth the play.
Great course and great condition
Excellent day at Stratford Park, course was in top condition as always, greens are mint! Definitely worth the £25!
Rude!!!!
Played this a few times, lovely course, always kept well! One thing I will say is that, the fella in the pro shop is as rude as they come!!! Always the way with him too!!! We had a tee time, was about to tee off (on time may i add, or even a couple minutes early). Came flying up in his buggy ‘well are you teeing off or not’ proper cheeky little ##*%! The man has no manners. Can genuinely say we wont be back because of the ar#%$*#e. Cheers :)
Great Condition and Value
Played Stratford Park many times, also great value and in top Condition! Interesting holes and not too busy. A must for all golfers
Interesting back 9
Front 9 a little repetitive going up and down a hill, but holes still demanding. Back 9 much better with some interesting holes. Greens smooth but slow. Worth £30 green fee.
Greens were excellent
Very helpful pro shop. On arrival the pro shop has no record of my 2 ball booking through Golf now, even though I had booked & paid for it a week before. Luckily the pro shop snuck us out once I proved purchase via my emails. It's was actually showing a four ball booked in for my tee-time, which was also booked through golf now.
Always judge a course by it's tee boxes!
This course just has all the little details bang on - tee boxes are better than some germs I've played on over the years, fairways are pure not ruined with divots and the greens are true with what I class as a fun speed fast but not ridiculous.
Great fun and it has that beautiful element of id say around 13/14 holes are just secluded and isolated so your just tunnel visioned down to the green your playing. I think I'm this green fee category there isn't a better course in-between Banbury and Warwick.
