Morecambe GC members shameful
On arrival we were criticised by members, unable to book a tee off time as we had. Is that our fault? NO
As our round progressed the two ball ahead, also members aware we weren't, were slow, even stopping to hold a conversation with a fourball passing by, holding up play!!
Then on the 15th or 16th they just walked straight across the green as we were playing a shot. Disrespectful, rude, ignorant and I will never play here again. I am quite disgusted, the course was great, the greens well manicured but the members let the place down

visit to morecambe
My first visit to this club and what a great day ! cost was only £13 for the round via teetimes . I had a very friendly welcome by the club pro who advised where everything was . I was early so decided to have breakfast. A fantastic welcome by the ladies in the club house who sorted a full english for me. This was the best breakfast I have had for a long time. Course was very interesting in its layout and some lovely views. It was a little boggy in places but it has rained a lot recently. A great day all in all and I will definitely return.
Wet Underfoot
Playing Morecambe due to home course being on temp greens!
Raining on arrival and informed on 1st tee "no trolleys today boys", so heavy workout carrying bags for 18 holes ensued. Although very wet underfoot in places, there were NO temp greens in play, so credit to green staff and visit was well worth the trip!
