Knott End Golf Club

Good value for £25 in the afternoon, certainly not worth anymore. Tee boxes ok, a little worn, especially the par 3s, I seemed to be the only one using the sand bucket to fill everyones divots.

Fairways quite generous and well maintained. Bunkers have too many stones so watch your expensive wedge! Greens ok, could have done with a shave. General layout a little dangerous as Tees are close to greens with people seemingly too embarrassed to shout fore. Couldn't access the bar the previous day as it's for members only, so didn't try the day I played.

Never played the course before and loved every shot. Some challenging holes, some more straightforward. Beautifully maintained in all aspects. Started a round at 6.15pm and sunk the final put exactly 3hrs later - hardly any one around. Staff and what members were there were really pleasant and welcoming. Stunning course and a memorable round after a day's work. Thank to to all.

i’ve played knott end at least twice a year for probably the last 10 years and i’ve never seen it in such good condition, tee to green it’s immaculate, always a challenge when the wind is blowing with it being on the side of the estuary but don’t let that put you off, highly recommend the course and it’s great value for money

Really nice course. Greens being maintained/treated so not in top condition but still good.

It's many years since I've played here but very enjoyable.

The course is in good condition for this time of year.

I would definitely return.

The only thing I would say is there are a couple of holes where I didn't find it obvious where a hole was going but I would certainly know for next time and it certainly wouldn't stop me going back.

Having played this course a number of times in the past few years whilst on holiday it has become our go to course when in the area. Staff always friendly and helpful.

So I turned up waited 10 mins in pro shop no-one to be seen so picked up a score card and off I went! Course on full temporary greens no-one to tell me this! Halfway down first fairway sign saying all fairways shut play off mats or go in rough again no-one to tell me!

Course was in a very wet poor condition but considering there’s been 2 storms and poor weather I will excuse that! One hole completely shut again no-one to tell me! I think in summer this will be a hidden little gem of a course

Lovely course greens was spot on and a great challenge. Windy as you would expect being links but really enjoyed the course

Interesting course Friendly staff and members Balls flying across fairways made it a bit hairy at times Lots of waiting around the 10 th but no problem

Amazing course and very friendly members very helpfull in pro shop super clubhouse with great views will be back .

great course, fast, true greens, great staff, good old fashioned clubhouse and a pleasure to play from start to finish. . would recommend all day, everyday and twice on Sunday`s!

Lovely setting with the first few holes taking you up the river wyre.

Course was in good condition, although no rain in the past couple of days it was boggy in patches.

Greens were in very good condition. All in all, a nice golf club with exceptional views from the clubhouse looking over the first Tee, 18th green and the mouth of the river Wyre.

Last minute booking and glad I picked Knott end … nice condition … some great views .. also some challenging holes … I scored lucky as there wasn’t many on the course .. defo be visiting again

The greens and fairways were were good , however not of the bunkers need some attention hardly any sand and full of stones .

Unfortunately we had four members four balls in front of us who were very slow .

Having said all that even though we had to wait a lot we enjoyed the course and our round of golf . Finishing off with a pint and a very nice sandwich served by vey pleasant staff .
