Perfect for all capabilities
Returning to golf after a six year hiatus and acute health issues, I didn’t feel confident to tackle a full-on 18 hole course. I’ve now played Casterton main course twice and I’ve fallen in love with the place. It’s a beautifully maintained rolling course with some fairly challenging approaches, perfect for this doddering old body. The busy café and compact but well stocked shop are perfect for pre and post game perusal. Adjacent there’s a sim room, small driving range and a short par-3 course for honing skills. All in all, a lovely place to play.
Really nice course, great views!
Really nice course, perfect for 9 holes of an evening.
Lovely little course
A beautiful little course with outstanding views and features. Some easyish holes but good fun and relaxed golf
A good 9 hole course
Even though 9 hole courses can be plain this course is just as good the second time round. Make sure you ring the clubhouse on the 9th for your sausage butty!
Last minute booking
Played last minute as another course was water logged, so seem there was tee times available last minute. So enjoyed a last minute round.
Fantastic Course
This is a lovely 9 hole course, plenty of great views and some challenges around the course.
Members
Members in a 4ball not allowing a 2ball through!!! 10 minut wait on the last 9 holes - very disappointing
Great all year round
Best winter course in the area by far and really well looked after all year round. Staff are helpful, it's a laid back and friendly course and they do a great job keeping it in good condition even when most courses are closed.
Disaster!
Do not play here! The course double booked the tee off time I booked and therefore told me I could not play as there was a competition. Instead of giving me a full refund they suggested I go on there par 3 course, would never book to play here again.
Great 9 holer
Played on a misty September Sunday morning. The course was in great shape with lots of interesting holes and big dog legs. After the match we went in for a cup of tea and sausage roll which were great. The shop was well stocked for a little club. I will definitely be going back in the future.
Lovely 9 hole course
Very well maintained and fun to play. Definitely okay again soon.
