Newquay Golf Club

About
Links course with fabulous views over Fistral Beach and the Atlantic. An abundance of bunkers plus the ever-present wind associated with a links course. Springy sandy based turf on most holes making for easy walking and good drainage making the course playable all year round. A challenge for the best of golfers.

Excellent location
Played the course when it’s been in much better condition but enjoyed the round
Windy
20mile per hour plus wind made for an interesting round
Not the best
First time playing the course, currently on holiday down in Newquay. Firstly course condition was poor appreciate its really dry but even some greens were brown round the edges. The course design was really poorly laid out and sign posted in part's. and there is also parking fines in car park in operation. Also rushed through play by some local oldboys who probably drive jags and don't like ladies to stay kn the kitchen. Thankfully golf now saved me a lot on geeen fees because I would be really disappointed if I paid full price.
Good course and great location
Challenging course but well played first time in here and definitely coming back soon.Cheers
Wonderful Scenic Newquay GC
On a windy day, as always, this challenging beatiful scenic Golf Course never fails to put a smile on your face. Be prepared to "shape" your shots. Always enjoy playing Newquay Golf Course whilst here on holiday.
Played on a beautiful day
Played this course on a great day so found the views along the coast amazing…..as for the course the first 9 was enjoyable the second 9 has a public pathway which you have to play over numerous times which spoilt it….in parts the course is scruffy and not really deserved of the fees asked for…..worth playing for the views on a great day not sure I would rush back.
Newquay Golf Club
The course was in very good condition for time of year, staff very friendly. Great value for money. If you are down in Cornwall I would definitely worth a visit.
Beautiful but tough
Great course, amazing views, but as always a tough test
Fantastic
Course was in fantastic condition from tee to green.
Incredible views and easy to navigate from green to next tee bed
Beautiful Scenery
Being next to Fistral beach the views were stunning. Course was in great condition, and the greens are spot on. As a first timer I did get a little confused as to the course layout, sometimes wondering where my next shot should be aimed but only to be expected. As it’s more of a links course there’s very little to guide you like a group of trees etc. Bunkers are a little tricky and quite course sand and pebbles in them. I enjoyed my round, but prefer a course where I’m not guessing or having to keep looking at the layout map on the scorecard. Staff were friendly.
Great course, tricky but a lot of fun.
Good service in the bar and good prices, the practice area is great and has nets for full swings and a good size putting green. The course is a bit demanding and punishes you for any miss but that just makes it fun. I'll be going again.
