Normanby Hall Country Park

After playing 6 other local courses recently this has by far been the best value for money. Greens were immaculate and the staff great. Disappointing the clubhouse closes at 6pm as we were looking forward to a beer after the round but that was the only criticism. Excellent golf course… abysmal golfer 😅

Thoroughly enjoyed the course notwithstanding the greens had just been overseeded, ,microtined and slit.

Very dry conditions for April so too early in the year to make any further comments.

The professional very welcoming and knowledgeable.

Clubhouse facilities OK but starting to look tired and in need of some decorating both inside and outside.

All told a great day out.

First time playing this course and was amazed how good of a condition it was in. Managed to get a round in for £12 through the app. Played on my own and was let through holes from other 2+ balls. I’ve recommended this to our society and will definitely be calling for another round. Scored well so that’s a bonus

Really enjoyed my visit. Great pro shop with friendly service and advice. Driving range if you need it but also some nets for a swing and a good sized putting area the course was a few days before summer prices return but would have payed the summer price. Although not top class, the course itself was very playable, testing, interesting greens and well maintained. I really look forward to playing again when the grass it growing again and the dressed greens are in summer shape.

Value for money, friendly staff, great course, great food in the clubhouse - what’s not to love about playing here.

Played on Saturday weather was great . Time of year greens are really good. The course was in great condition. Lots of area's been cleared well done ground staff. Looking forward to playing there again very soon . Brilliant

great course will play it again in the summer months

Always enjoy playing this course. It’s a very good track & always in a tidy condition. The greens are slow but well kept.

The pro was welcoming & tried to help with an issue I had with my shoes , which was decent of him.

What I didn’t like was slow play & im sure a stream system would help . We teed off as a 2 ball behind a 4 ball & in front of them a 3 ball.

The young group of lads in the 4 ball let us through on the 4 th but the 3 ball ( 2 of which were in a buggy) wouldn’t.

Most holes they had 10 to 15 shots each.

Ok , we’re not all decent golfers but everyone should know a bit of etiquette.

I just don’t get why at certain times 3/4 balls can’t go off the 10th & 2 balls off the 1st . Then a cross over time after a couple of hrs.

A notice on the tee or the pro should remind players to let people through if they’re not keeping up with the group in front.

Other than that the course is great.

Played on a twilight round on a Sunday - very quiet but did catch another two ball up around 14th and then waited on the last few holes.

Course was in very good condition and amazing value compared to others locally. Good mixture of holes - most tree lined.

Will be going back for another game.
