Great course

We played a 4 ball on a sunny Saturday afternoon, the greenkeeping here was exceptional. Course in great condition and some seriously challenging holes, I particularly liked "through the gap" every hole is aptly named. If you want to find out what they're called and why book a round here, you won't be disappointed.

nice test

nice course...little sjorter than i expected and quite narrow at times. Easily get away using a 3 Wood around the course and leave the driver at home.

A few of the fairways were a bit ropey but the green had been ironed and were super fast.

Form the price it is a good afternoon out and the club members that i met were really friendly and welcoming

Course in Great Condition

Played here Sunday, the course was in great conditions especially the greens are really well looked after. I’ve played the course a handful of times now and I’ve always enjoyed the layout and the different types of holes, you don’t really hit driver until the 4th. We did start behind a 72 hole challenge charity group, but we were offered to start on the back 9 and play that way, but as we were in no rush we decided to play as normal. So the round did take quite a while but that wasn’t an issue for us, and the staff made us feel really welcome.

Normanby Hall

Disappointing.

Booked online at a very good cost only to be told on arrival that holes closed and not all greens open. Peculiar layout of the course to be able to play and greens didn’t roll true at all.

Hopefully this will improve as the course itself is good but will not try again until summer unfortunately.

Brilliant municipal

Have played here, many times and have always enjoyed it! There are some great holes here some very challenging ones too! Don’t be put off by the fact that it’s a municipal largely because it’s quite possibly the best council owned course I’ve ever played

Decent

It could be one of the best courses in the area with a bit of money and time spent on it tbh . Some fairways and couple of greens a bit ropey but still a decent course for the money . Bunkers need raking a bit but overall it is improving month by month and tbf its a pretty challenging course

Normanby hall

Course in poor condition, was in need of a lot of work, looked scruffy.

Bar was closed mid afternoon when we completed our round.

We will not return!

Okay for a cheap round

This course taken over by the council and it really shows. Fairways as long as the first cut rough and bunkers left to ruin, with weeds and grass growing through the sand. Tee boxes not maintained and course looking like a council course.

One plus was the greens were very good and clearly what they focus their attention on. £12 Hot Deal we paid and can’t really argue at that.
