A beautiful golf course in abeautiful
Location with great character.
A fantastic view from the club house balcony of the 1st tee and 18th green.

First time round, excellent condition, tricky parts which made it challenging which was a positive. Didn’t use amenities or clubhouse

Great course, friendly staff, good price. The course is well looked after and challenges to a good level for a moderate golfer. I enjoyed the game.

My friends been raving about this place for weeks so I tried it and WOW I now know why!
Stunning Holes lightening fast greens and a hard walk so if you struggling walking definitely get a buggy.

Old Hatfield Hall.
Played this course today as we fancied a change of scenery. Came across it on golf now and looked reasonable for the price of £20. Pleasantly surprised. Although not overly long you have to put the ball in position to be able to go for several of the greens. Lots of bunkers very strategically placed and ready to catch you out . Ie a few of them right on my driving distance so was really a risk reward if going for them. Lovely greens , with some difficult to read putts. Plenty of water around the course. I play off of a 10 handicap and found the course quite challenging altho it was the first time i had played it. Some directions to the next holes were a little confusing. All in all a very nice course and look forward to going back. Oh and last but not least it was lovely to sit outside on the balcony in the sun with a drink overlooking the the first tee and 18th green.
Best greens I’ve played all year
Really enjoyed my round today. There isn’t anything I could see to complain about, best greens I’ve played on all year by far. Will definitely be back.
On a lovely sunny day ...
We found a beautiful course, although quite a challenge - we found nice facilities, well signed, friendly staff. Easy going approach, no fuss. What’s not to like?
Yorkshire Gem
The course layout is very good, the greens were the best they have been this year, the club pro and assistant made allowance for a further colleague to join us late, the course is just let down by not enough sand in the bunkers which rarely improves year on year. We are all missing out on the wonderful balcony view with excellent food and drink at this present time. All in all this is one of Yorkshire’s gems which keeps us coming back on Hot deals at least once a month
Matured nicely
Use to play here when it first opened in the90’s
love it then but now it as matured into a fantastic challenging course

Good thinking course layout in very good condition; enjoyed the round and will look forward to another
Occasional visitor
Generally in very good condition as you would expect at his time of year. Tees were starting to get a bit shabby and could do with a bit more work and a cut.
Great condition
Great course and a true test . The last few holes are hilly so a buggy might be better for the older players.
