Enjoyable round of golf, good weather helped, will be returning soon

Course was in good order for time of year and with the wet weather we have had

Most tee’s were temp but all greens were in play

Unfortunately when we played it had rained for two weeks without a break so I was impressed it was open at all. Given the weather it was in good condition but definitely soft under foot and 2 holes were shut (understandably).

I think this would be a great course in great weather and all the staff were excellent.

Always like playing this course. Considering the time of year course was in fantastic condition. Had a great round, probably one of the better rounds I've had this year. Now and again everything just clicks into place. Very friendly place to play.

Played after a day of rain and it was a bit windy but was an ok course but no real nice holes. Every hole tree lined so accuracy imperative. Enjoyed it but not high up the list.

Nice friendly club . Course and greens in lovely condition .

Not too taxing if walking/carrying .

Haven't played here for a while, but most say how good the condition of the course was. Some slight hold ups on the back 9,but still enjoyed my round (though I lost it a bit on the last few holes grrr). Greens were good, nice mix of holes. You wouldn't think you would find a great place to play golf in the middle of Wolverhampton, this is it. Will be back soon hopefully with my game being a little bit better. Good facilities and friendly team.

Course well maintained considering weather

The course pro was excellent

I love the layout at Oxley but it’s definitely not a winter course. Probably should have been closed as it was very wet and boggy. I will definitely go back again next year.

Played here randomly with a work colleague as it was geographically half way between us. Staff welcoming, gave us the after 4 rate. Well set up for Covid though signage confusing, strange sprawling building with insufficient signage. Course was shabby in places, lots of shaggy tees bear patches in fairways, greens were reasonable. Course layout had a few quirks and again insufficient signage meant we couldn’t find a couple of tees first time. A few testing dog leg holes on the front and narrow in places but not a great deal of challenge once off the tee. Would play again perhaps but not a memorable place

Course in great condition, greens very fast today. Beautiful day on very nice course in the middle of Wolverhampton. Well worth playing for a reasonable price.

On arrival the welcome was very warm and lots of help from the shop on a couple of the tee layouts, the pro went out his way to sort us a buggy as well which was very much appreciated, the course was in immaculate condition especially the tee boxes and fairways, about 6 of the greens need a little work on them in regards of a couple of patchy ones.

I would recommend this course to any one with challenges for every kind of player

Played Oxley Park on a Sunday morning. Greated by a very helpful & friendly guy in the pro shop. It is the second time I have played the course and can say it was in excellent condition considering the very dry spell. The greens were fantastic & the pace of play superb. Food was good in the clubhouse too - will certainly return!

In summer it’s a joy. Playing off 18 mats and temporary greens not so much fun

Nice course which was in good nick for this time of year as the weather has started to change. Good value for money seemed to go out at a good time didn't have to wait at all. Guy in the club shop was first class and very knowledgeable of his course
