Still Winter conditions and parts of the course pretty wet after recent storms but greens back in good condition and we had a good round on a sunny afternoon.

Booked through Golf Now and good value for money.

Only thing missing was shoe cleaner or airline to lose the inevitable mud.

Fairways just full of mud. Bad lies galore.

Good course in the summer but doesn’t handle rain well

More of a challange than expected.

Good course, friendly staff and great to be out there.

Being before the season the course is under repair but even so it is still in good condition.

All round great day and would definitely play here again.

The 1st hole should be closed until its sorted out , very muddy , quagmire like conditions.

Once we got through the 1st the fairways did improve , but the greens were average.

Its a shame because its a lovely course, the staff are fantastic, and there's a nice bar there. Ill try again in the summer 👍🏻

Good conditions taking into account it is winter season.

The course has had a lot of work done through the winter. Some of the fairways were a bit muddy but I’m sure they will be back to their normal standard soon. Always a good challenge. Will be back again

It was frozen weather but no shortage of punters. Lovely course but I would imagine you would get held up a lot in normal weather if traffic in frozen weather was anything to go by.

Pace of play was suspect, but the golfers are generally nice and accommodating if they ser you're quick. Apart from that, lovely course , would recommend , but not for a quick round.

We started off the day with a full English breakfast in the clubhouse and the staff were helpful and friendly in the pro shop and course was playing well for the first week of January 2023 with excellent tees & greens and we finished off back in the clubhouse for a drink and there's fantastic views of course from the clubhouse , recommended a day out here 😀 🏌🏻‍♂️🏌🏼⛳️

The course was of course wet but some greens were like waterlogged and others dry. No roughor fairway all blended into one. Bad directions to next hole.

Was ok

Played a few times over the summer and it was in good condition. This time playing it in winter and it also in a good way. Some of the greens were a bit damp but they were mostly pure - ones that get more sunlight were in great condition. Bunkers had lovely sand in and was very enjoyable!

For a public course this is well established and a great layout. Not a long course, but if you're not accurate then you will have a great relationship with many trees!

There's a good variety of holes, each with it's own difficulty and local knowledge is essential.

We play in December and it was -3 deg C and there was frost on the ground (all day) and the Greens were like concrete - I was surprised the course was even open!

Still enjoyed it though!

Very boggy course with poor signage throughout. Had to give up by the 9th as play was so slow. Won’t be going back.
