Pretty shocked at how bad the condition was in general. scruffy and untidy looking and basically unplayable at the moment due to the extreme weather we are having at present. Fairways are burnt and bald so the ball just disappears off the slopes and is unfindable amongst the leaves which are scattered everywhere. Bunkers are awful and greens are slow and horribly unreceptive. They could do with some decent watering
Worst SLANTED Golf Course Ever
Hole 1 ; Tee off and you've lost your ball..
Hole 2 : tee off and you've probably lost your ball.
Hole 3 : Tee off and you've probably lost your ball.
And so on, and so on, and so on.
Get a buggy..
A lot of run for your tee shot
Course fairways are very dry
Greens were heavily watered and slow
It’s very difficult to place tee shots on the back 9 , a real test .
Good value for money though
Golf day.
I was a member here a couple of years ago and thought I'd come back, what a shame the course is in a terrible state. It was once the best public course but it has gone down hill,.
Nice course but in terrible condition
Whole course, including fairways riddled with rabbit holes, fox holes, badger scrapes.... lucky to get araound with both ankles intact. Groundsman mowing within 6 feet of me didn't have the courtesy to pause while I took my shot. He was mowing stones along with everything else.... Bunkers full of large stones. It's a great shame as this could be a great course.
Stoney beach bunkers
Played panshanger twice in the last 2 months and all is good apart from the bunkers which seems to be more stones than sand. Not the end of the world but does need sorting.
All else really good especially the watering of the greens and the run in to the greens which helped due to the sun baked brown fairways.

Sun damaged fairways
Love this course but difficult to find your ball tonight as fairways had no green at all. This was entirely down to the extreme heat and not the fault of the club.
Bit disappointed
Front 9 is very much a walk up and down course each hole running parallel to the other.
The back 9 is far more varied.
It is a narrow course which makes it fairly challenging .
Overall good value for money, you get what you pay for
Very good all round value for money , only criticism ( bunkers need attention) other than that very good .
Very slow
Nothing worse than being stuck behind a club comp and not being let through. Slow play is killing this game
Not so busy
Not so busy between 11:00 to 15:00. We played without any pressures.
