A great nine hole course but different tees for a full 18 holes. Once played you’ll want to play again

Was greated nicely by the pro. Played in June after a couple weeks fair weather, course was in good condition, tees OK, fairways cut and not Divot Ted up, and green good and fast condition. Nice course features and some technicality to play, not a long course. Overall great balance for new player or the mid to high handicappers.

Great course which is in top condition and well looked after.

Definitely value for money.

Will be returning.

So I was very impressed with how beautiful the course was considering it tee’d off so early in the morning at 6:30am the greens were spot on and the fairways and ruffs was beautiful. Very tight course which makes it a bit of a challenge but overall. Lovely experience and I’d also like to add the members off the club a very welcoming as well.

Lovely condition and interesting holes. Greens were fast and immaculate. Didn’t matter at all that it’s only 9 holes played twice as the tee boxes for the back 9 changed the holes quite a bit. Will definitely play again.

I am a beginner Golfer and have been playing for around 8 months. I play because it helps me to manage an injury. On the eve of playing this course I was sent a text by one of the staff saying that due to weather it was carry only. I fully understand this and want the courses I play to remain playable for all but unfortunately can’t carry a bag, I use a trolly. I politely asked if the course would mind giving me a credit to play when conditions improve and I could bring a trolly…nearly a week later they have not replied to my text or email and have just taken my money. The worst customer service I have ever experienced and i will never visit this course nor recommend and would suggest others do the same. Extremely disappointing!!

I was an original member at this course when it first opened so I had to see how it had progressed. A nice tree lined tight course - not too long but a good challenge.

On this day it was a little soft underfoot but overall it is well worth the money for my nine holes. Will look at going back in the summer when it is at its best. Well worth a visit

Really enjoyed our round at Poulton Park. Everyone was friendly, particularly the pro who was very personable and helpful. Mats were in use on the fairways but the pro provided us with one each.

The course was in very good condition considering the amount of rainfall it has had to take recently, just one or two holes holding a bit of surface water but the greens in excellent condition considering.

All in all a very positive experience and will definitely look forward to visiting Poulton Park again. 5 star.

Firstly I thought this was an 18 hole course when I booked due to finding an 18 hole score card online, my fault I probably should have done a little more research on the place . However…we went as 3 ball the cost was £15.99 to play the course twice on the day, the nice thing was they did have two sets of tee boxes on every hole besides the 1st so on your back 9 some holes would change from par 3 to a 4 etc so it wasn’t super repetitive. The warmup facilities are good with 3 nets a chipping and putting area. The shop was well stocked with friendly staff. The greens were a little bobbly in places and I’m not an experienced golfer but compared with some of the other courses I have played I would say they were slow which isn’t a problem il just probably struggle when I go back to a faster green haha. The course is fairly tight in terms of the fair ways and your going to use your irons a lot more than your driver so it’s a good test for that part of your game. Overall after we got over the disappointment of it not being a full 18 holes we actually enjoyed our round and probably wouldn’t hesitate to return for another round in the future. I actually thought the course in the other side of the M6 was part of it but turns out that’s birchwood golf club haha like I said my own mistake. Anyhow was a good day and worth a visit. Cheers

Great little course, really enjoyed playing here for the first time. Was abit gutted some of the greens were out of action due to maintenance, but still couldn't fault it at all. Will definitely be back.

Played twice now and back again this weekend. Lovely little course and very well kept. Greens are immaculate and some nice features - hole 5 (par 4) and 6 (par 3) personal favourites.

Credit to the club and green keepers.

Chip and putt practice area is also an added bonus.

Definitely recommended especially if you want to just play 9 holes on a quality course. Looking forward to Saturday to play it again

Very well maintained course especially the greens, they were superb! They have a nice putting and chipping area as well as cages to warm up. Will be going back in the future.

I thought the course was going to be similar to a municipal course. Gladly mistaken ,lovely greens great fairways and nice layout . It’s compact but nice course to play. The staff were really inviting and great to speak to. Credit to the green keepers and pro shop staff will come again.

A gem of a little course that has several challenging holes. Greens fantastic, you won’t find better in the North West. Well worth a visit - a welcome from start to finish

First time playing Poulton Park and would highly recommend. Course was in fantastic condition despite all the recent rain. Will definitely be back.

Staff and course is first class for all types of golfers. Only issue was two elderly female players who refused to let any players through, I was on my own and it took me an hour and 10 minutes to finish the last 4 holes behind them. But this is obviously out of the courses control, and I thought the course and staff were fantastic
