Great course
Absolutely love this course, I wish I lived closer to it! Never normally can get on a Saturday morning but found a rare tee time. Booked straight away. Would recommend it to anyone, one tip be prepared for the last green! Good view when you finally make it
Great course set up
I hadn’t played there for around 3 years as the last time I did the greens beaten up by rabbits. But this time the greens were fantastic best I have played on this year. Staff very friendly warmup nets and putting green good. Course was the best it’s ever been when I’ve played there. Highly suggest you check it out
An enjoyable afternoon
Good, except the pace of play was a little slower than I would have liked and had problems with parking but otherwise an enjoyable afternoon. The perfect course for me as a highish handicapper, I will be back!
Established and perfect looking.
As I play lots of golf Priors Hall GC is always the one I find the best. I started playing as a youngster now older I appreciate it even more. The lovely scenery and its overall appeal is first class. The improvements by the council have made it even better.
Excellent course
Great course for all golf abilities. For the cost it’s great. I would play again 100%.
Good Condition and a Variety of Challenge
We played early March so the ground was understandably a bit sodden in places and the winter tees were in use. I believe that the place held up well enough, all things considered, that I'd imagine it would be even more of a pleasure to play at in the summer. The price was also not as high as other golf courses may charge. It's location also meant it was a very peaceful round to play and enjoy.
Lovely day excellent course
Would recommend all to try here really enjoying course can't wait to play there again Would recommend buggies for some one who ain't to agile otherwise great
Sort out the tee boxes
It’s a lovely, quirky course but the tee boxes really need sorting out, most of the time there’s no grass on them and you’re teeing off on mud but overall the greens where fantastic and the fairways were good.
X
Booked Tee off times 2 weeks in advance, with a price agreed with Sian the manager, for 9 people, was told No deposit needed just 3 lead names for he 3Tee off times, the first for 10.40 on the sunday 17th of August, our party turned up an hour before the first tee off time to take in the occasion, organised after the death of our close friend, people had come from as far as Southend to play, after spending quite a few quid in the shop, we was told that our booking had been cancelled 15 minutes after the booking was made, no explanation no phone call, no e-mail, we was told we could not play, & no other Tee off times was available, the staff at the time didn't know what to do, other than offer vouchers, this is not acceptable & ruined our day one Tee off time was offered but for 4 people an hour after origional Tee off time, this was unacceptable due to a local restaurant that had been booked for after our golf day, we feel TOTALY LET DOWN, in future we will take our custom elsewhere
Priors perfection
Course in excellent condition, fairways hard due to dry weather but greens receptive. Staff really friendly and helpful. Pace of play was reasonable for a municipal Course . Car parking not great when course busy
I played Corby when I was a teenager and have not gone back for many years. It's not a long course, and the fairways are forgiving. The course is in reasonable condition for a public course, although the tee boxes have a lot of sand in them. Greens are slow, but challenging.
I played just 9 holes and went around in 1 hr 30 minutes.
I would recommend
Buggies
Not enough Buggies, I have a disability and can’t walk far so can only play with a buggy plus when booking on line it doesn’t mention the availability of Buggies
Great Value Course
A challenging course in good condition, although the tee boxes are a little worn. Generally the fairways are nice and wide and the greens are in great condition. Overall, the course represents excellent value for money.
Always a pleasure to play Priors golf!. The improvements continue and the rewards are to see. The greens were excellent the sand in the bunkers etc just great to see. The drainage has been a big investment and well done on that also. GOLFNOW pricing
