Rufford Park Golf & Country Club

Course in great condition after the dry spell and now looks well greens true and a really good pace. Would recommend this course.

I enjoyed an excellent day out at Rufford. Playing in a two-some we had no issues with the pace of play. Obviously, the fairways showed some wear and tear after a scorching hot Summer but all in all they were in good nick. Tee boxes and greens were excellent. Off course I enjoyed a coffee and bacon bap. Price was very reasonable, service was very good and food was very tasty.All in all a lovely day out. Loved the par 3 17th which was a challenge in a slight drizzle with a gusty wind

Very dry on fairways which is to be expected but the greens and tee boxes are watered perfectly

The fairways are just light brown grass, greens have been watered and are in great condition. The weather was warm, pace of play was very slow, 8 minutes between tee times, I suppose they have to get a much out of the course as possible! More time between would help with slow play. There were a lots of golfers on the course so it was expected to be slow, we still enjoyed the round. The driving range is great for a few balls to warm up. On the whole if everyone just accepted the slow play it would be great but you alway have some moaning about it which makes things worse for everyone.

Greens are unreal considering the recent heat. Always great condition

First time here and what a treat teeing off at 4 it was beautiful day with the course kept in perfect condition, greens were super quick.

For 30 it was an absolute steal

Layout is excellent but would be very challenging for high handicaps

The course is a great test from every aspect. The layout of the course is well thought out. Also testing greens. Practice facilities are spot on. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Greens were very fast but true, fantastic day. Just a shame we had to wait on every tee.

Not many golf courses around Nottinghamshire or Derbyshire are as better the Rufford, excellent, hold 17, WOW.
