What a fantastic course and even better price.

All aspects of the course in great condition and well looked after, a credit to green staff.

I did think Autumn weather in a mature tree surround

Will be loads of leaves for the ball to hide, how wrong was i, must be big daily job alone just to get as clear as it was, thst is before mentioning the fairways and greens very good, especially after the summer we had they have everything to a great standard

A sunny October day- took me from Doncaster to Serlby plus a good price on GolfNow.

Probably my 3rd round here- staff in the bar upon check in very friendly, plus the few members that I met.

I managed to find my way around this tight course reasonably easily, due to the good signage- an improvement from 3 years ago. Being a sunny day the fairways, albeit in not too good a condition were dry and allowed quite some ball carry, however, same fairways were suffering from the extreme Summer conditions and had not allowed the grass to grow back properly.. Consequently most fairways had no differential cut to them, so no distinguishing the proper fairway with a first cut for example.

Bunkers were in good condition with enough sand in them to enable an accurate shot out. Similarly there were sufficient rakes to make good your bunker entry/exit.

Now to the best part- the challenging greens were on excellent condition with no apparent pitch marks- they were in great condition and everyone was challenging and had some good pace, You had to accurately read the relevant approach lines to the hole.

As this was a hot deal it was good value for money. The greens were ok, a bit scabby in places but generally good. The tee boxes were atrocious, they’re obviously not getting watered and are all over the place. The club house was closed and there wasn’t anyone from the club on hand. I don’t know how the club survives without proper facilities.

Accessibility to a toilet would be nice when nobody is in the clubhouse

Good small course some holes shared with different tees (18) overall a good experience.

Only issue was a party in front playing very very slowly, and potentially not teeing off at the allotted time.

Firstly, the the clubhouse and pro shop wasn’t open. No drinks or food which was a letdown. Because this was our first time playing it, we found it difficult to follow the course layout and got in a tangle trying to play and find the next tee. A few more signs needed on three holes .

Greens and fairways in poor condition.some of the holes are like playing them twice as they shared greens and t off areas. Nice country setting and lake though

Serlby park is a very well kept course, we played on a Sunday morning, we were very lucky to at the start not have anyone in front or behind us, but with how the course is laid out as a 9 hole that plays as an 18 hole layout we soon had people both at the back of us and in front, the greens we played on were a very good standard, unfortunately we played mostly winter green, which was a shame because the course was bone dry. I would play here again but I think you would have to choose you times otherwise play would be very slow, overall course is a very well presented and well kept course especially seeing it in winter conditions

Commendation to the club and greenkeepers as the fairways and greens were in excellent condition considering we are still in winter. The odd tee mat in use but that can be expected at this time of year. No winter greens were being played so that was a real positive, course was virtually empty and no hold ups in play.

This course is in great condition played it 3 times over past few months always a pleasure to play here less than 30 away from where I live we £32 for Saturdays round most we have paid there and couldn’t understand why it was that much but you don’t mind paying that bit extra to play on a decent course .

The course is kept in really good condition. I played midweek and course was virtually empty so no queuing. The bunkers had plenty of sand in them as I found out. Not the longest of courses but still an enjoyable 18 holes over the 13 different greens (7 shared but with different tees) Greens were in very good condition and fairways still lush too. Will definitely play here again.

Really enjoyed playing Serlby Park for the first time

What a quality little golf course. Some tricky little bunkers and some shared fairways make it a nice challenge. It’s very well maintained and a nice friendly atmosphere.

This is the most picturesque course in the area with fairways lined with trees and beautiful true greens.
