The course was in superb condition with plenty of run-out on the fairways despite recent rain. The tee boxes were fairly lush and well kept and the greens were rolling well. The layout was interesting and challenging but not so tough that you can’t have fun. The only thing that let it down was the four-ball in front of me who were playing a match that was obviously far too important for them to consider waving me through, meaning i and the group behind me were kept waiting on the tee for 8 holes.

Excellent game staff sorted me out and even put me and the others who booked on via golf now before a team as they were a little delayed

It rained all day so conditions were not ideal, but the course looks in great condition greens were fast even with all the water. Considering how dry it’s been the course is in fabulous condition. Staff were all friendly and helpful. There was no hot food but we had sandwiches and a warm drink before the round and cold drinks after the round when staff were preparing hot food for the competition that was underway. The driving range and two putting ares are all in great condition and they have remote lawn movers cutting around the fairway edges defining them very well.

Best value for money in South Yorkshire. 19 pounds week days after 1 they are giving it away

Sandhill has always been on of my favourite courses. The course is always in fantastic condition. Facilities are always in great condition and the clubhouse is excellent. Staff are top notch helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone.

The course is great overall as tricky little patr 3 and doglegs and the greens are a real challenge due to undulations etc and were in really great condition

Course was in brilliant condition from fairways to greens and bunkers. The work that’s gone in over the winter was evident today!

Got to be one of the best for value for money courses in the area.

Staff as friendly as always and the coffee afterwards was spot on.

We enjoyed playing the course, would definitely recommend. The greens are maintained well and general condition is great.

An early start on an overcast day. The fairways were ok and the semi rough was just what was expected. The bunkers need a bit more sand but the greens were fantastic, same I can't say that about my own club. Overall a good round on a good ans well maintained golf course, and with an Albatross on the last par 5 with a great breakfast in the club house it was a great day. Will be back.
