Sherdley Park Golf Course

The course played well shame I didn't. Some greens were damaged and few bits of wear and tear but to be expected after a week of rain! Didn't book in my colleague booked me in so didn't see staff but they have been hospitable in the past. THIS PLACE IS VERY HILLY DO NOT BRING A CARRY BAG!!!

Haven't played this course for about 10 years even though I live close by. It used to be in really good condition but the greens are in a poor condition. Whether the council have neglected it due to cutbacks (?) It appears to have suffered. Could be a great little course with its short par 4s, just needs a bit of TLC!

Great course, interesting layout, played twice in the last few weeks and wasn't too busy

This is a good municipal course in lovely park land. It's hard to follow due to lack of direction markers. Would play here again though

Course in great condition, although the greens are rather slow!

Definitely worth a round if your in the area!

Be prepared for some steep hills if your walking!

Even tho very boggy in parts with the weather we've had course was still pretty playable, greens in good condition also, much better when dry.

Played on a frosty morning after a wet week. Taking account of recent weather the course was in pretty good nick. Grass is a bit long but is good defence against the elements. Greens were true but slow.

Rumours of possible closure are disappointing.

We arrived a good 10mins before our tee time I walked into the club shop with my friend I told the guy at the desk that I had booked a tee time he asked me to provide confirmation which I did I enquired about the price of golf balls it was like I had asked him for his life I bought the balls and said thanks and I had no reply so I carried on to the 1st tee we found a 4 ball half way down the fairway by the time we finished the hole they had only just teed off but they politely waved us through then we soon caught the next group in front we had to put up with a long wait but after another 2 holes they let us play through .

The front 9 holes as always been the less maintained out of the 18 the ninth green was in bad shape but as I already know the best holes are still to come 11 and 12 is a short par4 and a par3 good holes 16 and 17 are my favourite holes always kept in good condition

the 16th as a lovely green which is truely uphill from the fairway and looks in good shape the 17th as a split fairway but don't use the right one or your doomed :)

The last hole is a shortish par4 a nice hole .

So just be aware of slow play and one unfriendly member of staff :(

But it won't stop me going back must be better next time.
