Very good Condition for the time of year
The course was in Very good Condition for the time of year and considering the amount of recent rain

Played here a few times, never after so much rain though
Course held up amazingly well considering lots of other courses were closed. Certainly a good course to consider when the condition are/have been terrible

Superb condition and interesting holes.
Played here last summer on a Saturday and it put me off. Nearly 6 hours to get round. No starter checking on people etc. Didn't even feel like I got a chance to enjoy the course as was just waiting around for so long.
Went back today. Wonderful. We were slow (2 old boys in group) so we let people past, not something I experienced last time. Course was in superb condition. Fairways luscious. Greens running good. Few pitch marks left by players, which is a shame to see, but a great round..loads of interesting holes and all 3 of us considering joining now (again, I had this thought last year but pace of play put me off)
Shot 96 so not too bad either.

Abbotts
Bit slow but there was a society in front. Course as good as anywhere, well maintained, greens not to fast (perfect). Cant go wrong and a good price.

20 quid at midday on a sunday a great deal.

Pleasantly surprised
Played this course and for the amount of money I paid for a Saturday morning I wasn't expecting much. The course however was in superb condition and offered enough challenge for a good golfer whilst being accessible for less able golfers such as myself. The greens were a little slow but that was my only complaint, seeing deer was definitely a highlight. Staff were very friendly and the clubhouse has clearly been there a while. Didn't stop for food or drink but there were plenty of other people enjoying it when we passed through. Will be going back.
Local gem
Cracking local course with a few tricky spots. Well maintained and forgiving at times. Lots of banter had by all.
Course condition
Although I managed to escape the dreaded bunkers by not landing in any, I did notice a few stones in them. ( like many courses nowadays). Apart from that, course in very good condition , greens were perfect. Play was very good time wise. £26 for a Sunday. All in all Brilliant.
Great Day Out
Super welcome, dodged most of the rain, course is more of a challenge than it appears to be initially. Recommended.
Stuck behind 3 old gits who would not let anybody play through counted 4 groups on the 11 hole
