Nice place to play. Conditions were excellent. Am seriously considering joining fir next year.
A lovely surprise
As my home club was shut, I decided to try somewhere new. Despite it raining and being very windy, the course was in great condition and a lovely experience.
GOLF NOW WARNING: I turned up and went into the pro shop to sign in, for them to tell me they have absolutely no record of my booking despite having paid. Luckily I had my confirmation email, but this is not the first time (or second) I have booked through golf now and it his has happened. I would think twice before booking through golf now in future as this is always quite embarrassing.
Genuinely surprised and pleased it lived up to its photos! Plenty of parking, range was a bit disappointing to be honest which was a shame. Its only short so there's open bays for irons and nets for driver however the matts were terrible so got no driver practice. Putting green was good, course was absolutely fantastic for a public course. Genuinely really impressed by layout and condition, and clear signage throughout. Only complaint is that there was no marshal and there were a few slow coaches out that wouldn't let us play through. We're all perfectly entitled to enjoy our round, fine, but not at the expense of others'. Planes were a bit annoying, however that's not a criticism of the course!!! Really enjoyed the day overall, definitely going back
Not too sticky
Played 9 holes after a lot of rain. Trolleys were allowed and only the 1st hole was seriously muddy. Greens in good condition. Artificial tees but meant we weren't slipping on drives. Great value.
With the bad weather of late I was expecting a boggy soggy course..However for a public course it was in really good condition. Better than most private clubs locally.
The bunkers were well maintained and for a public course this is rare..
Will be coming back for sure
Public walking on fairway
Too many members of the public walking on and through the course fairways
Good value cours
Great value for money.
Brilliant for a practice round.
Greens seem to be always spiked so always bumpy otherwise good.
Value for money
Course was in great condition and excellent value for money
Lots of potential, let down by poor maintenance
I would say 5/18 holes were fantastic on this course and a joy to play, but The others were let down by poor maintenance. A lot of the time I was sure if I was on the fairway or in the rough, as the fairway grass was so unkempt. If this issue was sorted, then it could be a lovely course to play. As it stands, I would pay the hot deal price of £14/15 a round to play, however i wouldn’t pay full price.
Average standard course but with some interesting holes
The greens are never good. This time they ere heavily spiked and were terribly bumpy. Putting was not enjoyable. Bunkers need sand also. Shame as the rest of the corse was playing well.
Nice Parkland course
This is a good course for the mid to high handicap.
The fairways are fairly generous and the rough manageable.
Green were in good condition
We played in very wet conditions which made it harder than it would be on a hot sunny day.
