Test Valley Golf Club

Lovely coarse very nice greens our local club was closed due to waterlogged coarse but test valley was perfectly dry and very enjoyable will definitely be going back again.

Nice course but plays better for a right hand player who can draw the ball. Some of the tees have tress just on the right making a fade (slice) impossible. good fairways and greens in ok shape!

Have played many times now it is an ideal location as my brother lives in the New forest and I in west London and we meet at Test Valley as often as we can

The course is very good and the facilities are tops so much that when I retire next year this would be the first club i would think of joining.

We chose our time with regard to threatened rain, this proved successful. We had an enjoyable all 4 agreed. Greens excellent.

Great round of course, greens perfect as was condition of course.

Love the course which was in good condition. Greens were in excellent but slow paced. Maybe they need to iron them or perhaps cut a little lower. Repaired many pitchmarks which tells me members need to look after course a little better. Staff very helpful. Play was painfully slow with a two ball holding up a four ball ahead of me and so I didn't have time to sample food after the round. This course is worth a visit and provides a good test. Played from yellow tees so did not get to see what it was like from the championship tees. Par 3's are all quite short but reasonable tests.

This course is in a beautiful location - it was a shame that it poured with rain the day we were there. The greens are the standout feature as they are in great condition and run true. It is a good test of hitting straight and true down the fairways as there are an abundance of bunkers to catch one out. I enjoyed the day and would like to return.

A very enjoyable round at Test Valley which I had not played for a couple of years. Fairway cut was tight due to lack of rain. Greens and surrounds in excellent condition. The course was not busy and we were round in 3 hrs 30 mins with a bit of time searching for the odd wayward drive. Booking in went smoothly and the post match beer was excellent. We will be back.

One of the best courses near Andover. Greens were excellent, whole course is well kept - you can see the club have been re-investing. Friendly/helpful staff. Nice practice facilities.

A cold cloudy & very busy day at Test Valley. The course was in fair condition considering the time of year, but the greens were very soft and bobberly. We got underway & the front nine was slow but steady & being one to enjoy a easy pace it was OK, then as we got on the back nine it became slower & colder, 5 hours!!!

Luckily today there was only one temporary green. There was however a lot of temp tee boxes/mats. I'm sure the course will be superb come the warmer months
