The Hampshire Golf Club - Manor Course

I will play on this course even though there are other courses around my home area. I like challenges.

Lovely course great views. Amazing value for money.

Very nice course with some amazing views, some great holes and some nice elevation changes. Just way way way to busy round took over 5 hours to play 18 holes now I understand that course want to make the most of available tee times but to have 3 groups waiting on most tees is just crazy. Have a course ranger out to speed up play or space tee times out more.

First time playing this course we turnt up and it was really busy so the manager let us go off the 10th and was very welcoming. The course it’s self it very nice and dry

fairways and green in good condition considering the wet weather we have had.

Great course with some fantastic holes... par 3 4th springs to mind.

Just an all round fun but also challenging course to play. Nice wide fairways an elevated greens made the whole round interesting.

Only down sides were pace of play,we were stuck behind a 3 ball who really took the Michael when looking for balls. This led to a two ball behind us getting stuck and then another two ball behind them who refused to wait an simply fired shots at you forced their way through all of us only to get stuck behind the 3 ball.

And the pro shop... Good for tees or if you need a grip but no choice of soft drinks/ energy drinks or hot food.

But I'd definitely go back... maybe wait till summer as it played quite long in boggy conditions

Very friendly staff, was able to tee off early. However I think that this was probably the case before me! Pace of play was excruciatingly slow. Gates were locked at 1715, I tee’d off at 1300 and only just made it out before gates shut! Course on the whole was very good considering the amount of rain that has fallen in the days before. Greens could do with a little work maybe due to the wet as mentioned. On the whole a good course. Many thanks

This is an ideal course for anyone wanting starting out, there is lots of space off the tee but like typical heathland courses you have to think your way round. Great experience and loved the views from some of the tees

Really enjoyable round, and some fantastic views of the Hampshire countryside!

The course was in very good condition seeing the amount of rain we’ve just had.

Greens were excellent & ran very true.

Pace of play very good except for the last four holes where we caught up with a threeball who clearly had no idea of how to play the game or course etiquette in letting people play through.

Overall a very enjoyable days golf & would certainly return if in the area.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing 18 holes up at Hampshire today, the course was in great condition, friendly staff and challenging holes!

Would play again and recommend!

Course was playing really well, a good challenge of golf and greens in good condition.

This course has a lot of potential. There are a few nice holes with nice views but the course is kept in shocking condition. The greens are more brown then green. Very bumpy and unreliable for reads. Tee boxes are shocking and don’t get me started on the bunkers! There are more stones in the bunkers then sand!! A club pro friend of mine always says judge a course on how the bunkers are kept and I’d give them a 0.1/5. Big shame!

Staff and members very hospitable and provide d clear advice once on the course practice putting green not what I expected, tees had rabbit scraps and some greens the same.

Some greens you could see old holes not fitting correctly which occasionally didn’t allow the ball to run true.

However due to the current situation with COVID-19 understand difficulty in keeping on top of daily tasks.

Played as a 1 ball but teamed up with a couple of gentlemen and enjoyed the round.

The day started badly with a very frosty reception from the lady in the shop. The course is very poorly maintained, the fairways and greens are riddled with rabbit scrapings. The tee boxes are very poor and the bunkers are a joke they look like they have not been raked for 6 months. The cups on the greens are ruined by ill fitting flag poles. There are no lifters or sponges in the cups so you have to put your hand right into the cup to get your ball out. Not very safe in the current COVID 19 situation. To say I was disappointed with the course is an understatement.
