Best golfcourse in area
Lovely day out and lucky with weather.
Course in good condition but greens weren't in "pristine" green as slightly brown and had bear patches but were still fast
As always 3/4 and long par 5 14th were brilliant challenging holes
Overall one of the best courses in area as it matures with lots up and down hill walking involved with superb Hampshire views all around.
A bit scruffy
An absolutely stunning track, just a shame that the members and other players don't look after it!
Fairways were littered with divots and the greens covered in unrepaired pitch marks.
It's not difficult to make these repairs yourself, so it's down to laziness and complacency.
However for the time of year it was superb.
Great course when it's wet!
With all the rain recently, this course has no problems with drainage. The greens have improved and with some tricky holes, this course is great value!
Shot 79 and took the money, so a good day!!!
Great value
Play here occasionally. Always good value, often easy to get tee time. Slow play today as Society of 20+ playing. No temp greens or tees although there is ground frost.
Re-Visit
I have played this course many times and it used to be in very good condition. This time of the year the fairways are what they are. The greens have a lot of damage and do let the course down. The bunkers have been improved since my last visit. Could be a great course with some TLC.
