Very poor greens

Left feeling the course had massive potential but poorly managed.

We turned up to find a blanket of golf. The lady sorting helped us get a start time that suited us both and it was a good day. Course a bit bland, good for higher handicap golfers & greens a bit bumpy - but it is winter so acceptable.

£25 was a good price

Course very damaged by crows and rooks, get a pest control team in ASAP.

Also bunkers need fresh sand and in poor condition.

Very good course potential.

This course has some incredible holes, challenging and fun.

It’s just such a shame it’s poorly kept, the greens are some of the worst I’ve ever played

Stunning scenery and some great holes, but crows still pecking the greens to Pieces, the bunkers also could be better, finished at18. 00 but no 19th hole open

A good course through rolling countryside. Quite hilly in parts requiring carefully placed shots to avoid the strategically placed bunkers and slopes. Signage between green to next tee box could be improved. Bunkers need a lot of work, high percentage have stones/shale and weeds in. Friendly staff and a competitive price

I don’t know why has been playing this course but the greens are terrible. £18 to play twilight golf. Don’t bother u til they sort out the greens. Shockingly bad. Don’t waste your time or money.

Obviously every course is dry at the moment but the greens here were amazing, so you could land a ball on them and get some purchase. Unfortunately the bunkers still weren’t any better but the greens and views were awesome! Will be back maybe after some rain

Very well kept and brilliant staff. As a new golfer this club was the perfect place to start on the academy course! I couldn’t recommend this course highly enough… BRILLIANT

The greens weren’t actually green - just a dusty brown colour. And some also were damaged across half of more of the putting surface. They looked like someone had been riding heavy tread bikes across them.

The course layout was fairly good not too challenging but not too easy - just a shame about the greens and the fact the bar wasn’t open at 3pm.

For such a beautiful setting and course it is let down by its bunkers, far too many things in them than there should be, we treated them as GUR.

The bunkers are more like GUR - too many stones (as in Flint) shame as they add to the challenge of the course, but don't like using my £150 club in them.

The bunkers should be considered as GUR - loads of stones and plants growing, was worse than a penalty for a slightly off target shot

Unfortunately the bunkers were ridden with stones and plants, shame as it let the course down...

Bunkers and greens unplayable as too many stones and debris and greens had been treated which was not aware of so wasn’t worth the fee!! Has great potential though but needs to be tidied up and watered especially the greens. Had to smash every putt!!
