The Hampshire Golf Club - Manor Course

Great course, would be a lot better in the summer no doubt when the trees have leaves.

Quite a forgiving course, lots of hills, some great tee locations, highly recommended.

Staff very nice as well, but no hot food

Given our local club and pretty much everywhere else was closed following some persistent recent rain we turned to a day out at the seemly never wet Hampshire.

Turning up in the rain we had a few cheeky smiles from the ladies in the pro shop but on we went and a couple of holes later the rain disappeared and you’d have never known. The fairways were lovely to play off and the greens significantly better than our last visit.

Difficult to comment on the pace of play as I’m not sure there were more than a few groups and we went round in a really quick time.

We’ll recommended over the winter for sure

It’s ok for the money, not great condition and the staff are not friendly at all very rude.

My only issue is the condition of footpaths to and around some tees. Only needs some all weather surfacing in a few locations. Given the amount of recent rain, the course condition was v good and we had an enjoyable round.

Really enjoy this course everytime we play. It's challenging and yet rewarding for all ability levels. Will certainly continue visiting with friends.

Played this course since 2019 and it’s great to play, suits my playing style, 16 handicap and very forgiving.

Beautiful setting and jay at the desk is a superstar.

Will continue to play ongoing.

Played a Christmas round with some friends, great course layout, excellent views and friendly staff. The 4th and 15th holes are challenging and enjoyable

This is my 3rd time I've played this course & have no bad comments to make, beautifully looked after, stunning views of the countryside all the way round & plenty of wildlife to look out for too.

First time at this course, nice layout and lovely wide fairways and views but it seems to have been neglected. Some of the greens were terrible, the bad ones were either brown and cracked or had damage/holes all over them. The bunkers had more weeds and grass in them than my garden and were out of play.

Also the bar was closed so only bottles and crisps/sweets available.

Such a shame as could be a brilliant course and club, hopefully it will improve but if I was local I’d take my hard earned money elsewhere.

Greens were full of holes and discoloured , fairways weren’t cut and bunkers looked like they’d not been touched for yrs, very disappointing for the price, I’ve been to par three courses in much better condition

Bunkers in a bad condition and currently out of action, since last played the greens have suffered considerably and in a bad condition.
