Awful condition
Whole course is being played of mats the course condition is one of the worst I’ve seen at this time of year
Muddy
The course was close to unplayable due to persistent rain. The layout is good, but semi-flooded greens and vast quantities of mud gathering on trolley wheels rather spoiled the day. A 14.04 tee time left us with no chance of completing the course due to the very slow pace of play.
Soggy Conditions but…
Very soggy and wet weather however course held up really well. One green with puddle on despite 48 hours of rain.
Rest was in good nick including bunkers and fairways.
Robs day out
Great value for money and the golf course in excellent condition, well done to the green keepers.
South buckinghamshire
Having played south Buckinghamshire quite a few times i can recommend this course as a enjoyable course to play the greens are always in good condition and i enjoy the course layout
Lovely Open Course
Lovely, well presented, open course. Really enjoyed, and will definitely be back!
Nice flat course
Greens in great condition
Value for money
Excellent value
At £22 for 18 holes on a big and very well maintained course I cannot fault this course. Greens in lovely condition at the mo as well.
Great course
In great condition. Bunkers full of clean good quality sand, fairways well kept and the tee boxes looked great. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Best value course around
Lovely staff, well cared for course and low price. What’s not to like.
Not a super difficult course, but you need to hit fairways as the rough is, well, rough!
Brilliant true greens
Course in great condition especially the greens
Toe boxes let it down a bit not flat
Great condition course for the money
Have played the south Buckinghamshire for the last 3 weekends and it’s in great condition, the greens role true and are a decent pace, fairways in good condition and nice tee boxes.
Pace of play has always been fine, not been held up, we did play later in the afternoon, so couldn’t say what it’s like in the morning.
Staff in the pro shop we friendly, so overall very happy with our visits and would definitely return.
Thank you to the green keepers as they are doing a great job keeping the course in the condition it is.
Been a while and we enjoyed
We used to come here a lot, Got a deal this time £15, the course condition was actually a lot better. Unlucky that we were behind slow 4 balls but the course was nice and quiet. We will come back again.
Ideal tueday
Course was in great condition
Speed of play was just right
One drawback the bar closed very early , thus did not get a chance to enjoy rest on 19th
Nice course, great value
Nice course, albeit slow play - would suggest longer gaps between tee times or marshals checking pace of play, encouraging people to play through. Greens in very good conditions. Will be back.
Little Gem
Having never played at this course, and given the person I was playing with lived locally, I decided to give it a go. Agreed not the longest 6,100 from the whites, it did have a few flattering holes, but like any course you still have to hit straight, and any errant shots would need a knock out to get back onto the fairway.
The greens were excellent, the first curt was exactly right (some courses I have played recently the first cut was nearly 3 inches tall !), so big shout out to the green staff.
Pace of play was exactly on the 4 hour mark, warm and sunny, luckily enough trees to have shade when needed.
Overall, if you live nearby, or not, its definitely worth a visit.
Value for money
Good course - excellent greens - friendly staff
Certainly value for money
