One of the best I’ve played

Firstly niggle. Pace of play was slow in the middle of the round but I was a single player. Thankfully got called through

Greens the trickiest I have ever played on. Lightening fast albeit a little slower than the practice green and deceptively undulating. Putts going 4 feet past the hole from 4 feet out but perhaps that’s my lack of talent

Over all a wonderful course well set up. Generous fairways thankfully that give you a chance but pls Ty of hazards.

Fantastic day at Vale Royal. Great course, in pristine condition. Lovely wildlife on the course, met a friendly fox! Would thoroughly recommend!

Enjoyed a great knock, course conditions very good, fast greens, defo coming back!

Great course in superb condition but our round was ruined by the fact a 7 ball group had been allowed out to play resulting in us having to miss 3 holes out which ruined our enjoyment of the round which was a real shame as a course it is fantastic

Great weather, very interesting, challenging and in great condition golf course, great scenery, what more do you need to spend a nice day on the golf course!

Course was in great condition and the greens were superb. Only one complaint some of the bunkers need more sand in them, that didn’t spoil our round 👍

Really enjoyed my round at Vale Royal, despite there being a lot of rain in the week the course was in superb condition. Flat, green tee boxes, short fairways, graded rough and fast greens throughout the course!

Quite boggy in places, mostly in the rough but didn’t affect the enjoyment.

I like the layout of the course as it makes you think about shots and ball placement- took irons off the tee on several par 4s due to very well placed hazards. There are a good mix of tough holes and opportunities and it’s refreshing to play a course where Driver off the tee is not an automatic decision.

Would love to play Vale Abbey again and highly recommend it!

I love vale royal abbey it's just a great place to be, I play there as often as I can and wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Very nice course in very good condition. Some very interesting holes. Looking forward to my next visit.

Played in wonderful sunshine with a mid afternoon tee time.

This course was in magnificent condition and must have been really well cared for during the horrific winter/early spring we’ve had. Finally some roll on drives and being that 20-30 yards closer to the greens make all the difference. Greens were a good speed, not rapid by any means but it’s still early in the season. Even bunkers, which seem to be neglected at a lot of courses these days, were excellent!

A thoroughly enjoyable round of golf and an absolute bargain on a hot deal!
