Tough layout, very fast greens
Course was in great condition, not sure if it was setup for a competition but pin positions and tee setup made for a very tough round. Pace of play was excellent and overall a very good experience (other than putting!) My playing partner and I had our worst rounds about 10 strokes more than our regular scores mostly because of missed putts.
Lovely Course
Nice challenging course for any level of golder.
Have played here many many times but found the greens to be little slow this time around. Nevertheless still a good course and cheap deals can be found by hot deals on golf now.
Hidden gem
Great course, fairways and greens immaculate condition. Superb value for money
Disappointing to be charged full fare for temp course
I've played here in the summer and this is a lovely course. A couple quirky holes but overall I like the layout. Sadly when I arrived was informed there were 6(!) Temp greens and 17 & 18 were closed, so we.could play 15 & 16 twice. I wish this course would make it clear on Golf Now that they are not offering you a good condition, so that when you pay you know what you're getting. Like I said, have played in the summer and enjoyed, but always frustrating when this happens. The benefit was being able to play Sunday AM and the course was relatively empty so we played very quickly.
Disappointing as Charged full price for 6 temp greens and 2 closed holes not on really at least discount it for a course where you only play 10 full holes bit cheeky
7 temporary greens
Difficult to give a fair review. Disappointed to of turned up with 7 temporary greens. Would of appreciated advance notice of temporary greens. Nice course. Good layout. Worth a go in the summer.
Very good condition for time of year
Had a really nice round of golf at West Middlesex.
First thing is they have improves the small practice area , now very nice new nets and mats all under cover.
Course in really good condition for the time of year , with decent fairways, rough not too punishing and some very good greens.
There were 4 temporary greens in operation , but we were told that before we started and perfectly understandable that they had to protect a few so they can recover.
Other players on course friendly and 4 ball called us through as soon as they were able showing great course etticut. 19th hole decent enough with some good choice in drinks (although they had run out of Aspall's) but marked down to 3 star as kitchen staff had left early so no food.
Great Condition
Everyone at the club were welcoming and friendly
The course was in great condition considering the weather we had experienced recently
Avoid if it’s been raining lots
More of a spring and summer course. Lots of blind and challenging holes. But has to close holes 17&18 if had lots of rain due to the water table. At £20, still worth it.
Amazing course conditions
This has to be the best course I have played in Middlesex. Amazing work from the greenkeepers to create the lightning quick greens. Fairways and tee boxes are also in brilliant condition. You could easily pay twice the price for the conditions at some other courses. Nice and quiet for a Friday afternoon so pace of play was good. Only negative was due to the location, some members of the public loitering in some parts of the course. One person even decided to ride his bike over the green!!
Quite dirty course unfortunately
The course is a bit short with so many par 3 while some par 4 can be long. A few holes are quite nice with some decent scenic views. Unfortunately, it is rather dirty. You can find empty cans, plastic bags or others rubbish. The greens are well taken care of. The fairways were not in greatest condition but were ok. The general condition of the surroundings (rough and the rest) are not great.
It is not my preferred golf around London.
