Weymouth Golf Club

Not the longest but lots of tricky holes, tight fairways, doglegs etc. Some scary par 3s which mean you have to hit very straight over bushes and between trees.

A very enjoyable round.

A mature course with avenues of high trees which make some of the fairways look tight but most are fine when you walk through unless you are a 'slicer'! Par 3s are fairly short but need accuracy off the tee. This was my first time on a course since Oct 25 so my score is irrelevant but I thoroughly enjoyed playing here on a short break.

The conditions were quite good considering the wet weather over the winter although there are small areas close to some of the greens which are a bit muddy and the fairways haven't been cut short because of the soft ground. Still an enjoyable day with two other Golf Now players who were great cmpany for an old guy.

Clubhouse staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Only a short driving range so irons only. A couple of practice nets and a good putting practice area to test your green reading.

Be careful to look closely for the club signs on the way in. Not well posted and the entrance to the club is down a dead end lane through a housing area and the sign for the lane is almost on the ground.

This is a relatively short course but quite challenging with some tight fairways rewarding straight hitters.

The course was in superb condition. Enjoyable and challenging course to play.

The course was a total quagmire. Took trolley's but not allowed to use them. Which didn't help with the trolley bags we took. So had to carry said bag all the way around. Then lay it in the waterlogged ground.

I have learned a valuable lesson to contact the club 24 hours before t-off to check the conditions.

Staff were friendly but unable to help us.

What a great golf course Weymouth is , it is a tree lined and challenging parkland course with good facilities. We were welcomed by the club professional who outlined the course for us prior to playing and we got off at the appointed tee time.

Tricky course that you can't see until you get there. Need to hit accurate shots to keep out of trouble! Greens are very slow up hill but crazy fast going down! A good day out.

Played here a few times now. And for 20£ on the hot deal you can’t grumble. I work away so getting golf in where I can. Always partnered up with nice friendly people. Staff are polite and course is in great nick. Fiddly in places. I will par 16 one day. Some hole that one.

Immaculate condition, greens are looked after and highly recommend to anyone! Would play again.

Friendly staff, course conditions excellent for time of year and amount of rain, some nice holes and some challenging holes, overall well worth a visit.

Teamed up with three friendly players, was very warm and bowed out after 9 Holes
