Good for beginners..

No long rough to speak of,first cut/ semi rough cut short and fairways block cut nice and short.. approaches and collars nicely defined... greens were a bit woolly with dead patches, moss and occasional colony's of miner bees that burrow into the ground leaving little mounds after them..nice if you're into wildlife?..overall for the money no complaints, good value, back soon.

A very challenging golf course.

Fairways nicely cut.

Greens needs attention, but not bad.

Great course.

Great course and layout, lovely staff and club house, let down with the greens and a few fairways. The greens are not like any other and they are quite hard to use, it’s like trying to put on a constant fringe. Other than that though I was happy with the place for the money, more than likely play it again soon.

Worst Course Ever

I would tell anyone to give this course a miss. Don’t even bother playing on it as it’s such a poor kept course.

Fairways are not cut short enough , the bunkers don’t have sand on apart from one or two the others have Astro turf where the sand should be.

The greens are a complete disaster and in a really bad way, no grass on them, loads of moss and some greens are just mud. Can’t ever hit a straight ball when putting due to the state of the greens.

Club should get a new green keeper.

Absolutely shocking course

Course condition

Without a shadow of doubt the worst course I've played... there was no bunkers, fairways barely cut. The greens didnt even have grass on them and that is no exaggeration. It was pointless lining putts up as the green was just mud. DO NOT COME HERE

This course is ideal for a mid to high handicapper

Enjoyable round for a 22 and 24pair of handicappers. However, the greens were in poor condition which made putting a bit of a lottery. The rest of the course was in good condition and enjoyable to play.

Hot weather
Walked

Brinkworth Woodbridge

Good tee time for a saturday, course recovered well after the heavy rainfall. Fairways long assume this was due to the rain. No bunkers to speak of. decent day out.

Should have been closed

Disappointing round of of golf. The back 9 was closed and had to play the front 9 twice. In fairness, they did leave me a voicemail to offer to rearrange the round. To be honest, they should have closed the whole course. It was like a farmers field. Not sure I’d go back even when the weather is dry, I can’t imagine the fairways would be a lot better. Shame really as it could be a nice course to play. The staff and other members were very friendly.

Got course

A nicely laid out course plenty of room , just a couple of niggles though lak of bunkers, some greens need some attention and the out of bounds up the 12 to the right seems a bit harsh and strange other than that an enjoyable course and gt value for money, will recommend.

Great course with wide ranging views and lengthy holes

Loved the layout of the course and the condition of the fairways (freshly cut) There were many long holes and some short ones with bags of character.. The course is well though out and for the money I think it's one of the best value 18 hole sessions in the area. The Greens were a little patchy in places and there weren't that many bunkers but there are water hazards and ditches to try and avoid. Playing close to the Scandinavian Chalets on the 18th was a bit nerve wracking.. There's plenty of gradient to play on too and the service was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Now a member!!

What can I say. Stopped playing for 3 years due to back problems. Tried a few local clubs. Played Woodbridge twice and now me and my brother are members!! Says it all really. Great course, great atmosphere, great choice!!! Great for a single round, even better for £40 a month membership!! Can't wait to get my full handicap and start playing in competitions. I guarantee if you come and play the course you WONT be disappointed!!
