Good course with many interesting holes
I have not played Cheshunt Park for many years but was pleased to find the course in good condition and has matured well in that intervening period. Fairways are tight, greens good and a relatively high degree of complexity, certainly interesting.
Saturday visit
Lovely course not crowded we were able to have a leisurely round.
It's kept in fairly good condition with some nice holes and good well maintained greens.
All in all good value for money and a good round
Only negative would be there needs to be a bit better signage as to where the tees are to aid players who haven't been before
Green became a pond
I knew the weather was not favourable, and rain was forecast. But I was not expecting the greens to be flooded and an inch of water. The one I was playing was at the bottom of a hill, but clearly drainage was not up to par. For about half an hour, putting on any green was impossible. But the upside, there was no-one in front to hold me up, or behind pressuring me to go faster :).
On a good day this course is lovely. On a wet day, be aware of the difficulties it will make for you.
Good value for money !
Not played Cheshunt GC for a while and my
partner and I were pleasently pleased
at the overall condition - nice stone pathways
between tees, greens and overall course improved .
Will definately play there again.
The layout of the course is really nice and was in excellent condition. I will definitely be back again soon for another round.
Cheshunt Park
This course was so boggy it was nigh on impossible to play, we had to repeatedly retrieve a ball from unplayable ground and re drop on better ground. I don’t consider the end of May as winter golf but that’s what the course was like, very disappointed
Fair challenge
Decent local course that is maintained well. A fair challenge for all levels. Nice greens.
Pretty good condition.
Cheshunt was in pretty good condition on Sunday except for one thing. The first cut is way too long and really needs a mow.
