Too much for winter golf just bad holes in front of the greens
Great for beginners
Played here multiple times now, great for beginners, just take a ball retriever for the ponds
Lovely course , lovely staff, food and facilities
Played 18 holes , it had been raining all the night before and morning but the course was still in great condition , greens were very good.
Great value 9 holer
Often saw this course available on golf now but haven’t booked as it’s 9 holes and not many good ones. This was a lovely little place tho. Nice set up of holes and different tees making it different on the second 9. Lovely restaurant as we had bacon butties and coffee in between our 2 nines. Food and service excellent. Greens on the course were really good considering it had rained for days and course held the rain well. Only disappointment was the bunkers. Compacted sand and lots of footprints that looked like they’d been there a couple of days. The better courses have someone taking bunkers every morning. Overall tho great value at £27 for 18 holes and would definitely play it again !
Very good
Staff were very helpful and the ground well looked after. Pace of play was good so there was no waiting around for people on each hole. Highly reccomend
Oak royal
Nice course layout. Some tight holes now the course is maturing and the trees are growing. Pretty good for new players. Better standard of golfer might find it easier. Was an enjoyable round.
Nice 9 hole course in great condition
Course was very well maintained. Signage is not great but otherwise it was enjoyable to play. Not long but a reasonable test. Be aware that although they have 18 tee positions you only get 9 holes for your green fee.

First time playing here and was very pleasantly surprised as i'd seen some poor reviews.
Course was in fabulous condition, greens perfect and fairways nice and mowed.
Only criticism would be signage between tee's could be better and no course layout available.
Some friendly members pointed me in the right direction though
Staff very helpful in the Pro shop.
I will be back.
Beautiful course
Well maintained. Some great holes. Great views. Conditions are well looked after. Will think to become a member once I’ve got my own skill up to speed.

Miserable receptionist and the course stunk of manure which stuck in my nostrils for 2 days

Very well maintained could do a little better with the signs to the next tees apart from that brilliant course
