Oak Royal Golf & Country Club

This is a well-maintained course. with some great difficulties built in. I’d recommend the course to all standards of players and will certainly use it again

This was the second time my son and I had attempted to play golf. The first time was at Myerscough College, lovely place would recommend. We were refused to entry because we were wearing jeans. I was then verbally "dressed down" in the shop in front of a member of the public. I tried explaining that I\we were beginners and that I didn’t really understand "dress code" etc. Left the shop feeling humiliated. If you are a beginner I wouldn’t recommend going there haha.

Just started playing golf with my son. This would have been the second time playing 9 holes. First place was Merscough College. Because we had jeans on we were refused entry. I was playing alone behind a group of the 3 who I caught up very quickly.

It would have been nice to be let you through.

Lovely course, well maintained. It looks straight forward but some strategic ditches just where you don’t want them, and say nothing of hole 7. Very testing

The course is extremely well kept. Beautiful fairways and greens. Friendly staff. The surroundings are picturesque. I can’t wait to go back.

the course is in superb condition currently with well maintained fairways and greens would definitely recommend them

I only played the 9 holes and it was extremely cold and wet but it didn’t detract from the quality course

The greens were immaculate and pacey ….it was as close to the greens at Augusta as I have played on…👍🏻🏌🏻‍♂️👍🏻

Too much for winter golf just bad holes in front of the greens
