Nice little course condition was still a big boggy considering how hilly it is and alot work needed in Certain areas

For the time of year the course is in great nick !

This is the first time we have played Blackburn golf club. The course was very up and down which in wet conditions proved to be a bit of a trek. The standard of the greens however were awful. If you were putting you would lucky to have a Three put. All three of us were very frustrated by the end of the round. We will not be going back. Not a pleasurable experience.

Course I’d extremely soggy. No standing water but poor drainage compared to a lot of other courses played. It is a nice course with some inviting long open fairways and nice little par 3s. Will definitely go back in the summer. All greens where open and have just been airated ready for sand.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing Blackburn again. Although winter rules in place, we always enjoy coming back each year

Nice course, some nice and unique holes with well maintained fairways and greens, definitely would recommend.

First time playing and both me and my playing partner said what a nice course it was. It’s quite hilly so would recommend a buggy. There’s some really nice holes and the greens and fairways were in great condition. Unfortunately nothing is open on a Monday and the pro shop wasn’t open when we got there so wasn’t able to get a drink or anything before the round. Would definitely recommend a visit

This is a really good course a few mind challenging holes there seemed to be loads of flies flying around and a couple of killer hills but deffo a very nice course will be deffo be back 😊

Best course I have played on. The weather was excellent, the greens the best we have seen. Highly recommended. Definitely requires alot of effort around. Needs a buggy or electric trolley.

The course is very average, however the amount paid compared to other courses, such as Stonyhurst calls into question why it is expensive. The pro shop and clubhouse are average but they do exist and are staffed which is good. Not sure if the green keeper is on strike, but the fairways were poor and patchy in some places. Signage is good and it’s easy to navigate the course which is one positive I could take. The other golf users are very friendly. Overall average course enjoyed the round but felt as though it is overpriced.

It was a pleasure to play this course today. What a wonderful piece of property! Bravo
