Llanyravon Golf Course

The staff was amazing both in the pro shop and the cafe.

I haven't ever played a round of golf before and I've only just started learning a few weeks ago and was itching to go and play and a par 3 9 hole fit the bill.

Had a complete beginner, like me, who I let go through and then I sliced a ball back from tee 1 to tee 2 to another couple who were also beginners so I had a great non judgemental first ever round made great from the moment I stepped into the shop to the people I met on the course.

I'd read the fairways and greens weren't good but they were absolutely fine, way above what I expected from this price point and the scenery is great. It's a very compact course with not much width on the fairways so you're punished heavily for deviations.

I think the only thing that people might not enjoy though is the first tee is right infront of the cafe so you have an audience on your first two holes and there is no where to practise anything.

I would recommend this place 100% though and will be becoming a regular thanks to the first expierence.

Good for beginners and juniors, greens are decent, nice bunkers, good facilities. Nice find
