For the time of the year the course was in decent shape

Nice layout conditions not bad for this time of year. Wish it would not have been cart path only. Hope to play again

The course is a nice layout but it does not drain well at all. Slow pace of play mainly because of the young kids that Often play there that don’t have the proper etiquette. I think it’s overpriced for the shape the course is in. I notice a lot people that play there are dressed in t shirts, sweatpants and jeans. A dress code should be enforced.

Beautiful course, but it is still very early on in the year so the fairways are all completely dead, and with the recent rain it was muddy and soggy all over. The greens are overgrown so they’re slow and a bit bumpy. I’ve been meaning to play here for a while, but maybe I should have waited until later in the season.

Cobblestone golf course is pubic that the staff and everyone takes care of. We had a 1hr 15min delay for frost. I was not notified till I arrived at the course. The staff did all they could to keep pass of play flowing so no one group was slowing everything down. Because the group wouldn’t be able to finish the whole round, the staff accommodated our group accordingly. Because of this, I will be returning here with anticipation for my next round.

I checked in to my round and for some odd reason the young kid who checked me in asked me if I wanted a job. I am a 38 year old success financial professional, formerly a Regional Vice President for a Fortune 500 company, owner of a financial service company, and therefore in no way looking for anything, yet for some reason, he asked me, yet did not broach that topic with the two other gentlemen who checked in around the same time. I dare say it was because I was the only black gentleman who was checking in. It was shocking to be asked that, improper, and certainly by no means an invitation for me to play here again, although the course itself it an inviting course.

This was my son and I first trip to Cobblestone . The young man behind the counter took the time to walk us out and show us where everything was located . After hitting some range balls we went to the putting green where we met a ranger . He was also very polite and offered info and advise on the course . We will definitely be going back !

1st time playing this course, fantastic experience. 1st off the website the course has is awesome with a great, informative flyover for each hole. Check in was nice and the guy in the front pointed out some highlights. A few mins behind for frost delay(winter golf, it’s expected) I have read in the past about being cart path only a lot even after no rain, which it was today. But put your bag on your shoulders in walk made it super easy. Beautiful views of the lake on some holes, greens were a little slower then they looked but rolled true on every line. Did not try the food but in the clubhouse there is a grill and lounge area, will be back! Starters were great to keep groups on time and shared some local knowledge about the eagles nest in the tree on the course, very cool.

Course layout is fantastic! Challenging, scenic, 18 great holes! Can’t wait to play it again in the spring.

Course conditions: same as all the courses I’ve played this winter.

This is an amazing course. Bring your A game. The only gripe is when it sprinkles its cart path only

Overall great round of golf in December. Greens rolled well and fairways were decent. Rough was too long which hampered speed of play .

Had challenges throughout day with extremely slow play at times. Rangers frequently encouraged ready play to group in front of us but deaf ears. Some delays caused by longer roughs and leaves on course.

The course is challenging, every time I go to this course they are crazy about driving carts on the fairways , exit paths but never a word about the slow pace of play to anyone.

6 hr pace for first 9 holes…… yes 20 min per hole. Marshalls out there but apparently not doing anything.

Me and my two brother in-laws and a friend came here and was treated with disrespect by the marshal. Didn’t know coolers were prohibited and the way he made us feel about attempting to bring it was not appreciated. This was our first time out there so we didn’t know. Also, was pretty much followed by him for the first 5 holes and it was cart path only on a sunny day in Georgia?? I’ve played much nicer courses and it’s never cart path only. If it’s raining or had just rained I get that, but when it’s 70 degrees and sunny then that’s just annoying. Had to deal with a guy cutting the grass almost every hole as well. Maybe we’ll be back maybe not. The holes by the water were very nice though. The course was nice just need staff to match that.

Cart path only even though it was 75 and sunny. Wasn't told about that when I booked the tee time or when I showed up to play. I'm no wimp but it was still tough for this 63 year old.
