Apple Valley Golf Course

Well maintained golf course in the high dessert. Great pace and greens putt true. I enjoy the length of this course compared to Ashwood. Best in the desert!

Golf course was in great condition. The greens are in excellent conditions. They roll so pure. Stay in the fairway cause the rough is deep and challenging.

Apple Valley much better than when I first played it. There are still a couple of areas where the rough should be cut to speed up play. The greens can be a little faster but still rolling pretty good! The only problem is the range. At this time of year, you should NOT be still using the mats. Also, the range is not long enough to hit driver. However, the turf is great! Now, if they could just turn the wind down, it's a prett nice track to play! LOL

One criticism, pace of play was slow and we we're pushing and being pushed. I think they could have managed the spacing of groups a bit better I notice a section of about three holes where no one was playing. Not a deal breaker though.
One good thing that stood out on the course was the quality of the bunkers ( which I was in a few times more than I would've liked). Overall, the experience was a good one.

Great course, greens are fast and challenging especially when the sun is out very fun course

We arrived 30 minutes early to warm up, and the head pro informed us that the Men's Club was out on the back 9, and we would be delayed 30 minutes from our 9:15am tee time. I asked why and he said they had booked a charity tournament and the Men's Club tournament on Saturday, and the Club did not finish, so they went off sunday morning. The 30 minutes turned into an hour, and we were not happy. The assistant pro finally let us go off on 12, in front of a slow threesome. They should have let us go off number 10 twenty minutes prior. The fairways and greens were OK, but the bunkers were rock hard dirt, with semi high lips. Poor service, so-so golf course. Save your money and play somewhere else.

The course was in good condition and the pace of play was good for a Saturday game

The course was in very good shape and greens were excellent. It was a shotgun start that started right on time. Pace of play was good, weather was excellent and the staff was exceptional. This was a very good value.

My buddy and I had a single join us so the s peed of play was perfect. No one holding us up nor anyone behind us. The greens were in excellent condition. Only $17.00 with cart through Golfnow deal. Look forward to another hot deal.

The course is in good shape. The staff is very nice. The course layout is fun and the back is more challenging for me. It was a chilly day, but had on several layers and stayed warm. They are sending off groups like a shot gun start because of frost in the mornings, but it didn't hurt our game. We started a little late and on hole # 6, but the pace of play was good and we had a great time.

Greens and fairways in excellent condition. Greens fast! Just watch out for the rough.

Course is not really difficult but it is a bit longish. Played the blue tees and the drive is the key. Greens are exceptionally receptive and will even hold a long iron. Greens are small but in great shape so putting was a dream. Have an 8 handicap and played to that exactly.

I have played tis course several times now, and it is still a challenge to me, I am an 18 t0 20 handicap player and a senior . the fairways are wide and long ,

Looks real good out there well groomed and watered. Hard to believe we are in a drought by the looks of this course.

I grew up on the G.C. in Victorville and am saddened at its condition now days, but the Apple Valley course is in great shape. The bar and restaurant is in need of a pick me up as it looks like you just stepped back in time 30 years, but the golfing is great. Great pace of play and great conditions....They keep the rough long so it is tough in the AM with all the wet thinks stuff just inches off the fairway. If your up in the desert, this is a good course to play, especially for the money.

The weather is perfect this time of year

I heard and read that this course was in great shape and it was! Good deal through Golf Now. We were ok with the slow play of the two groups in front if us. Had a great day!
